not a conventional punch that anyone else seems to throw, or at least one that hardly any others throw.

I remember when Joe's weak stoppage of Manfredo was slowed down it looked like Joe was using UFC style hammerfists amongst other punches in his combinations. At the time it made me think of how I used to throw punches in primary school fights, before I was properly taught how to make a fist. Watching the MMA guys use it, you can see how it's actually effective as a punch.

GGG has obviously declined from what he was, but what an amazing fighter he still is. Some of the shots and rapid / weird 3 punch combos he can still throw out were unreal. Still a dangerous bastard.

I love that southpaw power jab that Crawford throws sometimes. What he dropped Brook with. Great shot, the arm says jab but the legs and hips seem to move like it’s a hook.

Juan Manuel Marquez sometimes jabs with his hand at on off angle, his thumb pointing upwards. Great for breaking through guards. On that Fightworld documentary one of the coaches was explaining it to Frank Grillo.

Edwin Valero used to throw this mad back hand to the body but it looked for all the world like it was going to the head. Conventionally, you change levels with it but he threw it standing up straight.

But Junior Witter and Jason Collins could also land this shot very nicely. As could Naz.

DLH had what he called his 45s. They were nice angled hook/uppercut hybrids coming in at 45 degrees. He never put the twist or leverage that Ruddock did.

Wayne Alexander had a habit of throwing curving overhand shots that came in high but he would often dip down low which made them look quite odd. Very effective though, huge puncher.

Ike quartey had a great jab. Very very heavy and straight. Almost like he was a converted southpaw, which DLH was (and Frazier and Wharton).
