Got to be careful throwing those wild, wide hooks from out of range, will end up getting butchered by a half-competent counter puncher if that carries on.

Lot of money to be made if you time it right on Hatton’s opponent. I don’t think it’s gonna be a 50-50 fight that he loses I can see the opponent who beats him being an 8-10/1 outsider.

Folk are quick to moan at the standard of the womans fights. This is a garbage standard. Shouldn’t be on tv. The American woman is technically better than these 2.

Hatton is garbage. His management and the accompanying hype plus the fact he’s cocky and not likeable make me really look forward to the highlight reel KO waiting in the future.
I feel a bit vicious as he’s only a kid and Was a big Ricky fan….. but I just can’t make any positives for this turd.

Does anyone think his family will tell him to turn it in? Like Harroon khan did ?JamesPhilips wrote: ↑16 Apr 2022, 16:11 Hatton is garbage. His management and the accompanying hype plus the fact he’s cocky and not likeable make me really look forward to the highlight reel KO waiting in the future.

i think hatton lacks power i reckon he should box more instead of going for ko, as i reckon he looks alright when he boxes
Re: Round-by-Round: Conor Benn vs. Chris van Heerden - 16 April 2022
Fair play to anyone who goes into the ring but Campbell Hatton really has basically zero talent and no engine does he?
Re: Round-by-Round: Conor Benn vs. Chris van Heerden - 16 April 2022
To me, young Hatton doesn't even look to have much in the way of hand speed.

Mike Costello calling his shot selection ‘impressive’. Ffs Costello.

Was Ricky Hatton a counterpuncher?
Re: Round-by-Round: Conor Benn vs. Chris van Heerden - 16 April 2022
He's poor and wont improve whilst he's got his uncle /cheerleader in the corner essentially telling him everything is fine when it isn't.
Froch and Lee were correct, he's wasting so much energy throwing big punches all the time.

Hatton isn't anywhere as near inexperienced as we are told. He had 40 bouts, just lost every time he stepped above novice level. Benn genuinely hasn't done much. He's come on loads, but it's not going to be enough.

Compared to his first few fights I actually think Campbell has improved a fair bit. Still too wild, extremely open at times and the gas tank emptied a little at the end but he’s better than he was on debut and on the AJ undercard.
