I had it 4-3 but you could tell CBS starting to take over with his strength and what looked like heavier hands.

Always thought this was a sleeper. Obviously below this the card ain’t great but ppvs aside I think this is as good a chief support or small main event as there is right now.
Fully agree. I always liked the fight.

to be honest james that was the fight i wanted to see , little interst in the ben fight
Can’t say I’m much different. Although I do have to concede Benn has grown on me in that he is exciting.

Really conclusive finish for Billam-Smith, I had a feeling McCarthy was gonna catch something big again, he was hurt in the 4th and took some big shots in the 5th as well, not really sure what his tactics were, he just never found his rhythm, landed the occasional punch but was too passive and never threw the jab enough, Billam-Smith was busier, imposed himself on McCarthy, smothered his work up close at times and looked like he was catching breathers in between attacks but some of his work was good and compact, he showed great variety for the KO, huge right hand to send McCarthy down for the count

That was my read of the fight too.

How many people do you reckon they’ve got in there?

Not many at all. 5 or 6k I’d say.

Needed to get the Romford Bull on fill it up a touch more.

How many rounds you lads feeling? I got $3.33 (bet a dollar, get 3.33 back so 2.33 profit) for connor in the first 4 rounds. Feels like value. only small money on it, if it goes longer i get to watch some boxing at least.

Nah not there.

So Can’t give mickey1975’s level of insight on the attendance or the crowd fights unfortunately.

Eddie said about 6k in an interview in the last few days tho.

McCarthy was smarter but fortunately for him and us, CBS landed some long-reach rockets and stopped what seemed another close fight.

Elegant but one-sided bout by Alycia.

dont get me wrong benn has come on untold , i ve said it before i didnt much of him when he started but he looks good , its just the oppo ive seen a few of chris fights , fair play tough lad will trade if he can i just dont think he is any better than benns last oppos so i dont think will see any tests for benn, because we want to see how benn handles being put on the back foot or takes a big shot

Van Heerden trying and getting some sucsess.. Connor is throwing some heat as usual, if van heer can weather another round or 2 connor will have to back off on that heat and box a bit smarter.

First round was really good and competitive. Conor just seemed to try and walk through him whilst Van Heerden landed so nice counters.

Credit tot Benn in the second - he slowed down and measured his shots well.
