Agree, he's in decent shape for him. Genetics have just given him the biggest set of love handles ever to mount the heavyweight throne, which he'd have even if he had AJ levels of body fat

Serious? I just listened to an interview with Frank from about an hour ago where he said the undercard is as announced. I don’t rate Romero as opponent anyway but jeez!

That’s not really true, he’s just never really put in a concerted effort to maintain a calorie deficit to bring his body fat much below 18%. If he ever got down to 13-14%, the love handles would go.

All isn’t well between Bob and Frank. Bob said some things re: Kinahan last week that Frank’s now come out and said was categorically untrue. Not ideal when you’re co-promoting a big show like this.

Bob’s also now not coming over to the U.K. for the fight due to covid.

Bobs always been a lying rat. He was singing the praises of Kinahan being a calming influence not long ago. Now he’s stabbed him in the back. Don’t know why anyone is even listening to old Lyin Bob. He’s fucked over almost every fighter he’s ever worked with.

I’d imagine the other senior guys at Top Rank are looking forward to him completely stepping aside. He’s put his foot in it plenty over the last 18 months.

I care more about the fighters than some wanks at a promotional firm. Bunch of leaches imo. Bobs right up there with Don King and Tex Rickard as regards being a scum bag.

Anyone else notice, Fury was using a southpaw stance in the work outs..

I bet Whyte and his team were watching.

I think it will be Fury who things are not well with more than Frank. Frank is desperate for Tyson to stay signed to him and will do anything Tyson says for the privilege. Rightly or wrongly Fury won't stand for Kinahan getting slagged by Arum IMO.

It was interesting hearing Tyson being asked about Kinahan. Basically said it’s not his business so he won’t talk about it. Seemed quite awkward but it shuts it down.

Frank seemed stressed today in the couple of interviews I watched of his.

Can see this fight finishing Warren off as a promoter, that old pudendum Arum has probably told him he's not weighing in with the dough

Hope Frank plays with Whyte more.

He probably had fans tune in to see him and he no shows.

So he’s basically gonna be at the Presser on Thursday, Weigh in on Friday and Saturday fight night.

Frank should give him a stinky small dressing room, mess around with his music and have him wait long on the ring.

I'm a bit worried about this show. Other than 800 page forum the hype seems like a 5 million dollar fight not a 40 million. Sure tickets have gone well but I really hope it can at least break even.

While it's fun to hate fwank, from me at least is mainly a joke, I want him to have enough money to get Joyce and DDD out, and Mabey spend more than 1000 bucks on an Ava opponent...

I also don't wanna see Whyte dragged through the courts the next year, which is going to happen unless this does surprisingly well.

If this loses 5 million, is that the end of frank? Gotta be close.

I feel like the kell brook amir Khan fight had more hype, but I could be wrong.

I like this intensity of questioning, just not to a fighter fight week. This is what promoters/MTK should be copping.

Fury is great at deflecting. Saying things like "hes not my dad" or "im not close to anyone but my wife and kids" is a pretty slick way of sounding like you are denying being close, but also not really ruling out being close... Then muddying reality with random anecdotes, like the ukrain/klitchco not being his buisness, or what the interviewer spends his moeny on not being his business. Fury is better at it than most politicians, who do relentless media training to steer interviews without dummy spitting... i wonder if fury is very media trained or just a natrual.

that said The "non of my business" when its literally your business is a bit of a laugh though...
Or the "bob can spend his money on what he wants" like bob was just donating to the Kinahan foundation, rather than it being Furys managers fees. But fuk it, keep saying stuff enough and it sounds true.

Truth is the public will give fighters a much easyer run for dealing with kinahan than they will give promoters, so fighters really just need to Not fuk up and they will be fine.

Tyson came across really well there, he shouldn't have to deal with sanctimonious clowns like that, he's got bigger fish to fry

Frank must be cursing his luck that this Kinnahan story has boiled over just before his biggest ever promotion. It's been festering for years.

I wonder how the PPV revenue is being carved up ? Would BT Sport buy the PPV rights beforehand, and keep all revenue, or is it a case of sharing the revenue between broadcaster and promoter, based on the number of buys ? If it's the latter then I'd be interested to know how many buys Frank/Bob need to break even. I see this doing 500k buys in UK.

I think Tyson deflected the questions well but it was also noticeable that the continued line of questioning was annoying him too. Not nice to have it in the background during a big fight week.

Same. That at least had 2 fighters with history (must have been 15 times I saw that clip of them on Ringside during week) and then going at it at the press conference. Plus they’d both done loads of interviews in the weeks before.

That fight did c.500k buys. Frank is still saying this does 1.5m buys plus Bob’s estimate of 300-400k buys in the US.

I think the Khan/Brook fight had a lot more people watching but a high proportion of them would have streamed it. Will be the same for this.

Fury along with the rest of the mob who publicly praised Kinahan like Saunders, Sunny, Brent Davison and Sam Jones brought this on themselves, despite the so called mountain of evidence against him they continued to fight his corner, not the wisest move, they'll be dozens of other fighters who've worked with him who kept quiet who'll avoid scrutiny

I don't think even his biggest critics can deny he clearly does well for his fighters and their looked after
