Nikolai Valuev vs Jarrell Miller
Re: Nikolai Valuev vs Jarrell Miller
I'll give it to Valuev. We don't know how good Miller is off the juice and he doesn't have the experience in World Championship bouts that Valuev has...
Re: Nikolai Valuev vs Jarrell Miller
Valuev has a lot of arguable wins. Whom did he win clearly? Liakhovich? Barrett? Were the likes of Washington, Wach and Duhaupas worse than those?

big jar takes it, too busy and valuev wouldnt be good enough at keeping him outside. miller's also one of the few body punching hws, which is good when valuev's head is so high in the sky

Valuev's jab pawings wouldn't be enough to keep away the relentless fat tank Miller, whose volume is more diverse.
Re: Nikolai Valuev vs Jarrell Miller
I would say that Valuev's wins are better. But I also think that his multiple fights against Ruiz and his fights with Holyfield (although an old one) and Haye give him experience at championship level that Miller doesn't have.
Big Baby is (was?) an impressive big specimen but he never reached the top, top level and we don't know if he ever will now... And looking at his record I don't see any wins that would convince me that he could beat the giant.
Re: Nikolai Valuev vs Jarrell Miller
If Valuev was convincing at the higher level, then I would agree with you, but otherwise I can't. He didn't really have anything, except that experience, while his inarguable wins were quite meaningless. Anyway, there were a lot of crossroad fights, where obscure by that moment prospects defeated experienced fighters. If Valuev would be scheduled against Miller at some point of his reign, I wouldn't be surprised with an upset. Although it could be another robbery in favor of the Yeti.Crease wrote: ↑20 Apr 2022, 06:52I would say that Valuev's wins are better.
