I don't think Fury has trained for this fight. In all honesty I don't think he gives a shit about boxing. I maybe wrong and this fight turns out to be a corker but I have my doubts and think it will be a stinker.

What makes you think that? He looks in fantastic shape for him and is bang on weight. I thought he looked in poor nick for Wilder 3.

I think that’s probably what’s going to happen. Fury might start resembling Enzo Maccarinelli, a good on top fighter whose punch resistance has sadly evaporated. I’m kind of hoping Fury makes it the distance as that’s my best Whyte bet. I’ve got Whyte wins, Whyte points and the draw covered.KiwiRider wrote: ↑22 Apr 2022, 21:21 Surprised at this from Del Boy-

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
Pundits and pros make their predictions for all-British heavyweight world title fight
Former two-weight world champion David Haye: "I think Dillian stops Tyson Fury on his feet late doors at some stage. If that happens, you would have to go for a rematch. Possibly even a trilogy with those two."
Trainer Dave Coldwell: "I hope it isn't a fight where Tyson is cagey and negative. As a fan I want to see them go at it. I'd like a more positive Fury to come out there to really try and put it on Dillian.
"It's an exciting match-up. For me, there's no clear favourite. Would I say Dillian is an underdog, yes I would, but I would say he's a live dog."
Britain's WBO super-welterweight champion Natasha Jonas: "I'm going for a Tyson Fury win. I've bet against him before and got it wrong so never again.
"How he wins depends on which Tyson turns up on the night."
Fury's coach SugarHill Steward: "I predict pain. Dillian is not a special talent of a fighter, but he's consistent with pressure and comes with a lot of power. You always have to watch out for Dillian."
British welterweight Conor Benn: "I wouldn't be surprised if Dillian Whyte [wins]. The [Deontay] Wilder fights have had a toll on Fury - he's been inactive for quite a while, so has Whyte. Whyte has got that dogfight in him, but so has Fury. I think Whyte is the bigger puncher of the two. I wouldn't be surprised if Whyte [wins], but I lean more towards Fury."
New Zealand's former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, who lost to Whyte in 2018: "Tyson is going to win by knockout between rounds five and nine. The undisputed fight will be after that and maybe Dillian can fight me. I want to right that wrong."
Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin, who lost to Fury on points in 2019: "It's going to be a tough night for Dillian. He's the shorter guy, the smaller guy. He has power but he will need faster feet and faster hands to get close to Fury.
"He needs to make sure he doesn't let Fury bully him around. But I think Fury will dictate how this fight will play out. He will try and outbox him and then maybe go for a late stoppage, but I predict he will win on points."
Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis: "I think Dillian Whyte is going to find it difficult boxing a tall guy like Tyson Fury. And even catching him."

Enzo was knocked out in his fourth fight! And another seven times! Are you really comparing the two? I'm sure you lot are on a wind up! A bloke who's just got up four times against the hardest puncher in the world is now the new Enzo.polecateddy wrote: ↑23 Apr 2022, 05:02I think that’s probably what’s going to happen. You must concede that Fury was incredibly lucky that the referee didn’t wave it off in that first Fury-Wilder fight. How many refs would have? I suppose my serious point is why Wilder is a poor yardstick, is his lack of accuracy. His follow ups are always poor because he doesn’t really understand what he’s doing. I just think Whyte can hurt Fury and then follow up much more accurately.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2022, 05:20Enzo was knocked out in his fourth fight! And another seven times! Yes, I think a British ref wouldn't have even counted if it was the away fighter. Big Terry would have probably pulled out smelling salts for the home guy. I'm sure Whyte can hurt him. Half of me would like Whyte to In so m can see what abuse is going to come my way....
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
I really don't mind who wins, I just hope Fury isn't too negative.
Prior to the Wilder trilogy, I can't recall any of his fights I actually enjoyed.
I can recall some I didn't enjoy.

fury had a lot of fun fights earlier in his career, before he started doing the backfoot stuff so regularly
the wallin fight was decent too
on the other hand, chisora-fury 2 is one of the worst fights ive ever seen, even worse than fury-wlad

Lol, Enzo 'ironchin' Macca. When did he ever have punch resistance?
People are letting their hated run away with them.
I've got Tyson late in a competitive fight, probably rd 9.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
I guess if Fury wins incredibly impressively he has a reasonable claim on being the world number one. If it’s a maul, gets off the floor but eventually wins late, it’s an exciting fight but it will leave a lot of question marks still. And if he just loses badly it’s a sign that complacency and boxing is a bad mix, even for naturally gifted fighters.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2022, 05:55 Yes, I think a British ref wouldn't have even counted if it was the away fighter. F W at the Emirates with a little late hype for PPV but he did say that he has renewed the contract with BT Sports for another 3 years for his shows
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
12 rounds of back foot fighting by Fury, lots of hugging everytime Whyte gets near. Clear points win for Fury in a very boring fight is my prediction.

I don’t think that’s hugely relevant, given that their respective amateur careers are a very long time ago now. I just think fighters do reach their expiry date, and Fury is likely approaching his.
If he remains unbeaten that is .
Still would want to see him fight aj and usyk to be able to remove all doubts about who the best HW really is .
Sorry for all you Fury fans but I cant ever accept wilder as any kind of benchmark as his resume is piss poor so for me the jury is out on Tyson Fury until he fights the other top HW `s .
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
Closer fight than the bookies have it. Best for best Fury wins. But even if he's still physically in his prime (big question) who knows which TF turns up.
Having said that he's a sharp man. When Whyte offered to swap caps Fury watched Dillian put Fury's on first before he did.

It’s finally here.
I know the thread was created before the fight was actually announced, but wow! What a thread for a fight. Over 2k posts. Dating back even before the purse bid was won.
Imagine going back through and seeing some comments, how peoples opinions may have changed etc.
Will post an RBR thread later on around 5pm.
PPV begins at 6pm.

Shocking undercard.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
If Fury wins a stinker - as a lot seem to be predicting - what current top heavyweight would he look as good against as he did against Wilder to restore his credibility to his fan-bois?
At this moment in time I feel AJ and Usyk beat him .. possibly even Slow-Joe-Joyce too.
Really looking forward to this now
