Whatever 'level' Whyte is/was he was a top five heavyweight in most people's eyes.

The way he was swaying about from fatigue, pretty much any shot clean would have done him. Terrible stamina.

I was surprised at his cardio, which was abysmal - no wonder Boxercise was so interested in him

You could see Dillian sensed it late like the Povetkin one, closing his eyes and tucking his chin until he went flying. One last match, please, Tyson...

I really hope this Ngannou stuff doesn't grow legs. Neither could realistically survive in each others world.

Not sure what all this "hybrid" stuff is about. An MMA fight but with big gloves on?

1 more fight - winner of aj-usyk 2 for all the marbles. then if he wins it would actually be a good time to retire. now isnt

Whyte was looking old in there. He might be out of his prime.

Yeh, the £25 was literally for the main event. That’s what everyone was waiting for.

Rivas put him down, and almost out with an uppercut too!

Agree. I don't think he'll retire but I hope the rest of his time in the ring aren't a series of Mayweather-like gimmicks.

Was.

But for most of us that was years ago, based on his best round against AJ, who's also fallen in our ratings. Parker would've beaten him without the 'butt, and Chisora outboxed him for a while. Top 10's a fair argument, based on the unknowns of the upcomers.

Which means in 9 months time he'll be past it and shouldn't have taken that 1 last fight?

I do want him to take that last fight for the record. But that's a hell of a fight to go out on.

gotta be dat 1 more fight vs aj-usyk winner. makes no sense to retire with an undisputed fight out there, when you are at your peak for performance and popularity

he wont retire anyway

You could sense it! I was expecting a clumsy exchange with Fury half-landing a few shots, Whyte swinging for the rafters and missing, before getting tagged and dropping from exhaustion, the stoppage soon after.

In fairness to Fury, it was more decisive than that (even though the uppercut seemed to glance; have to rewatch it). I was disappointed in Whyte's high weight and poor conditioning. It's not like they clinched *that* much, and he was blowing early.

Really disapointed in Whyte tbh. Poor performance.
