Good call on the bet but agreed - was a tough watch. At least it started early and we weren’t watching it at 10.45 waiting for the main event!gregregegg wrote: ↑23 Apr 2022, 20:46Normaly gambling makes even the grimmest interesting, and winning makes even the shittest good. but Even after getting this bet i wish that fight never existed. Id rather have watched a fight between two journey women in 16 oz gloves and backed the loser...gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Apr 2022, 21:17 Can get 5-1 on ekow by points. Seems value, I think ekow stops him lateish, but at 5-1....

Essuman is always a thought watch. He’s one paced predictable and really just boringmaverick23 wrote: ↑24 Apr 2022, 03:17Good call on the bet but agreed - was a tough watch. Hard to judge Ekow on that.
Fight brought forward, huge pressure added and against a tricky southpaw.
He’s 33 so Frank needs to get him a big fight next; why not Ava?

I think so. Frank did an IFL interview earlier and said they were working on it still. They should have delayed it a couple of weeks.handsofstone wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 14:54 What's the crack with this card now then, are BT still airing a show on Friday??

No sure but the least Frank could've done is get an opponent in for Cacace and gave him top billing

Crazy really.
I know Saturday’s show was a monster for him but surely they could have put together a show in the week after for the next generation. Yes the show was thin already before the Essuman fight was moved to Wembley but I feel bad for the guys that had been working to that date for it now to be cancelled a few days before.
I couldn’t see any mention on his Twitter and tickets are still being advertised. Only saw it’s been cancelled because of Ryan Garner’s tweet.
The normal BT boxing content (so excluding the Fury PPV) has been pretty dreadful so far this year.
