Controversially:
- Fury down to #2 based on Usyk having a better recent win than Fury.
- Whyte up to #4 based on Whyte having a better record than Wilder despite the loss.

A few noteworthy HW fights scheduled or in discussion:
Parker/Joyce
Ruiz/Ortiz
Yoka/Bakole
Zhang/Hrgovic
Pulev/Forrest
Bryan/Dubois
There's also a slight possibility of Rivas Vs Babic/Rozanski at Bridgerweight but not yet in the works.

Keep Fury where he is.

He has fought twice since Usykโ€™s win over AJ and heโ€™s fought Wilder and Whyte both top 5 and KOโ€™d them both.

Iโ€™m undecided about Whyte yet.

Bryan-Dubois should be at announcing stage but shame itโ€™s King in charge.

Whyte down to 10 (two stoppage losses in his past 3 fights, displayed poor stamina against Fury)

Fury should remain at # 1

fury no change
whyte to 6 (switches with parker)

i just cant move whyte down too far considering how inactive or unimpressive a lot of these guys have been

like if we take ruiz, he hasnt fought in a year since the unimpressive points win over a waaaay shopworn arreola. in the past 2 years before that, all he had was the wide loss to josh.

joyce hasnt fought in almost a year

etc

i dont want to punish a lost to the #1 too harshly when other dudes just be sitting on their arses. whyte is still very accomplished compared to most of these guys

I understand what you mean. Not moving him down too much.
Before Whyte fights again, a few of the lower guys should surely fight.

For example winner of Parker-Joyce should move above Whyte for sure.

If Ruiz-Ortiz gets made, again the winner of that will likely move up.

Letโ€™s see what the majority think.

Kept him at 5 for now, but he's a comprehensive Ruiz victory against Ortiz from going down to 7.
Winner of Joyce-Parker will definitely overtake him when that fight happens; and probably overtake Wilder too.

Fury #1 and Whyte #7, bumping Ruiz to #6 and Parker to #5 :TU:

I put him at 10 considering he's 1-2 (2 KO losses) in his last three.

on the other hand, in almost the last 3 years andy ruiz (who hasnt fought in a year) has only beaten a totally shopworn chris arreola, while whyte has beaten rivas, povetkin, and wach

whyte lost to the #1, i dont think that should slide him below guys who aint being doing sh!t lately

Based on one fight I agree. Just saying I took his last three into consideration.

sheeyat, you moved him below ortiz too?

since 2018 all ortiz has beaten alex flores, chrissy hammer, and needed to get up twice to beat chuck martin.

why cut it at the last 3 though?

basically this rewards a guy like andy ruiz who has done jackshit for about 3 years

see, i think this is the type of stuff that results in inactive/lacklustre guys ending too high. andy ruiz will be climbing the rankings at this rate having not fought in a year (and he was very unimpressive at that...his only win in just about 3 years)

luis ortiz since 2018 will have only beaten alex flores, chris hammer, and charles martin, yet somehow dudes are wanting him to get a bump now. in the same period whyte beat parker, povetkin, rivas, chisora, and wach. wach is the worst there yet still ko'd hammer i might point out

for the guys plumetting whyte to something like #10, what did you rank him going into the fight?

just saying, andy ruiz has 1 unimpressive win over about the last 3 years. inactive for a year

ortiz since 2018 has only beaaten florez, hammer, and martin, none of whom we ranked at the time. whytes beaten parker, rivas, povetkin, chisora, and wach. 4 of the 5 we ranked and the other ko'd one of ortiz's guys

just seems odd to me that whyte would plummet below guys like this off the loss to #1. we arent voting on these guys but we can factor them in when deciding where to place whyte

It's arguable with Parker, but Ruiz did more than Whyte in the last 3 bouts. It's also arguable with Joyce, but he will beat them all. Whyte to the 8th.
