Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
Whyte saying he should've been given more time to recover because Fury illegally pushed him and he hit his head on the floor. He's going to carry on and wants to fight Fury again.
“When the uppercut landed I was buzzed, but he full on pushed me, I fell over and hit my head on the canvas, which is illegal. But as usual they let Tyson Fury do what he wants and get away with it. I should have been allowed extra time to recover”

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
It was a push for sure. I’ve seen lesser pushes in the past..
Whyte was already KO’d before he was pushed.
And he did take his time getting up, ref was giving him a chance and said walk towards him.

Hilarious. The punch shook his brain more than I thought.
Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
Someone pushed someone in something called a fight?
Say it ain't so. Next someone will complain that logic was used in a debate.

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
His head didn’t bounce off the canvas either. I get people look for excuses when they lose but to argue the ref should’ve let him go back to the corner to recover when he couldn’t even stand up properly is ridiculous.
Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
I don't buy that. I thought the way Fury beat Cunningham was dodgier (holding and hitting).
Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
I actually said at the time, before I even seen the replay, that it was an obvious push.
Fury is a dirty fighter (to his credit, I think every champion needs that in the locker) and he gets away with all sorts of stuff.
I also think it would have been a huge ask for Whyte to recover from that shot, even with the break between rounds. But he has a valid argument, it was a shove, and had he not been shoved he may have been able to clinch or drop forward to his knees. Going flat on his back made it much more difficult for him to beat the count.

So Whyte, like Wilder and Cunningham, all from 'the ghetto' is crying because a bloke from Morecambe is a little bit more street than them?

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
Whyte appears to be falling onto Fury after the punch. So Fury gives him a little shove to stop that happening.
Seems fair to me

While a push isn't exactly legal, what about Whyte's rabbit punching? Whyte looked like Chuck Wepner in there.

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
Curious this was brought up, because I did wonder the outcome without the push. Whyte was deffo gone, but with so little time remaining I think it's possible he might've bundled forward into Fury instead, the clinch essentially holding him up.
This is controversial, but I also felt he was very slightly coming into the fight at the time (I had it 4-1 with Whyte maybe nicking the sixth), but ultimately he was too gassed to turn it into anything. And Fury might've been conceding ground deliberately at that point, precisely for that sort of counter. Whyte was plodding forward square, after all.
I don't think the shove changed the result, but I do suspect it might've changed the round.
Like you say, it was likely the difference between landing on his back and knees, and I'd have given him double the chance of beating the count from the latter.

I'd say it was definitely a brainshake multiplier, but it wasn't severe like one of those where a head hits the rope. When we fall with our wits about us we compensate to minimise shake, and obviously Whyte couldn't. But I think he was done from the uppercut anyway.

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
There are things that don't much bother people in isolation (except Whyte in this case!) that many of us wouldn't like allowed to become trends.
If Fury goes back to WWE it can be his finisher: The Big Shove.
If Whyte's angry about anything it should be his cardio. Wilder twice made the mistake of coming in too heavy, and now Whyte can be added to that list. Wilder did well at 212, as many fancy Usyk would.

He's lucky he got a push if he stayed up he would have been open for another clean shot which would have been far worse.

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
I think Whyte would've bundled into Fury before he could set for a follow-up, and had he sidestepped to create a new angle, Whyte would've gone down with the ref jumping in. The push was an instinctive I'll-take-that thing, I'd say.

Whyte is a right tit, always has been. Fury reminds me of Hopkins the way he fights, catching everything on elbows and wasting little energy until the time is right. The shove was a Hopkins trick as well. He done it with Tito and a few others to good effect.

Re: Dillian Whyte accuses Fury of an illegal push
Of course he’s gonna say this in the faint hope that it gains some traction and he somehow coerces Fury into a big money rematch when the alternative is to act as a gatekeeper as he slides down the slippery slope to oblivion.

He doesn’t deserve a rematch in anyway. He was rendered useless. Also with his all his crap non promotion of the fight, nobody is going to want to use him again. It was great seeing him knocked out if I’m honest.

You'd expect the PPV's will end for him now but Chisora has managed to get numerous chances so won't be surprised if Whyte does
