Congrats to Fury for his easiest win in a long time. Shame on Whyte for being Mr. Excuse. If he is lucky he will be in line to fight for the vacant WBC strap if Fury lets it go. Maybe him and Wilder finally get it on in the left overs championship bout.

I do hope Fury sticks around though. I think he thrashes the Usyk/Joshua winner no matter who it is and he should be aiming to go out as undisputed with all the belts. This is not the way to exit even though it is his right if he wants to retire. He is just too big for Usyk and Joshua is pretty much a bum in all facets compared to Fury.

I think one more win to hold all the belts is what Fury needs for legacy reasons. Go out with no other king on any throne besides him. And then vacate all the straps at once to give the fans a parting gift as there would be several good match ups made on the heels of leaving as undisputed unified champion.

Yo Tyson........1 More Round! 1 More Fight! 1 More Massive pay day bigger than all the others. :box:

I still don't understand why anyone thought Whyte even deserved to be in the ring with Fury. Did anyone really think this fight was going to go any other way? :D :D

well he was mando for a long time - years and years wilder somehow managed to swerve him due to wbc .
DW of say 4 years ago would have been worth watching and who knows how he would have done then v fury or wilder ..
But his performance on saturday was frankly rubbish - he was too heavy and not mobile enough to stay in the fight past the 3rd round .
Not sure he even landed in the 6th before the ko .
Parker will fancy a rematch and probably go for the same upppercut .

Whyte is probably hating Wilder and WBC even more now. He would have real chances against Wilder. But he was ignored in favor of Breazeale, Ortiz, Stiverne.

Aside from whether you feel Whyte took a punch, a dive or a bitch push, can anyone gloss over how god awful Whyte performed inside the ring? I honestly can’t even think of another contender fighting for the Heavyweight Title that looked as bad as Whyte did. Uncoordinated. Slow. Gassed. I mean, did this guy even train for this fight? Stevie Wonder could have neck rolled away from those pathetic attempts.

Most of us knew he’d be outclassed but he always had that left hand that could change everything. I didn’t see one left remotely close to landing with any mustard. Wilder would have absolutely demolished Whyte inside the first. It was just surprisingly pathetic to me. The Brits will credit Fury’s boxing skills but a realist would correctly call it just one big lane attempt by Whyte that he should be embarrassed about forever.

Maybe I gunned for the wrong guy. Just read his latest post on Whyte and I agree with every word.

To be fair, he'd earned his shot, regardless of how he performed on the night.

Look at Whyte's resume, it's better than anyone's in the division with the exception of Joshua.

Yeah, Whyte would have been able to bang with Wilder and maybe won.

I expect an apology by days end, Caldo. Right from his own lips, the punch clearly "buzzed" and "hurt" him. Right from Whyte’s own lips. And the video below proves, beyond the shadow of doubt, that Dillian didn’t bump his head on the canvas either.

Lololol. He didn’t even come close to bumping his head. So the only acceptable answer if the punch didn’t do it, the head bump certainly didn’t do it, then his heart did it. Again, proving me correct.

The Klitschko era was far worse.
Klitscho was better than Fury, so that alone makes it a slightly better era.

Klit wasn't better than Fury, cause he wasn't able to do anything with him in their actual fight. And don't bring the '147 year old Klit' argument, cause he had enough safe career to remain credible in the late 30s. Fury is much more versatile boxer and a tougher fighter, than Klit has ever been.

I don't know how you have been fooled into thinking that Wlad jabbing and grabbing made him more skilled than Fury.
