Re: Liam Harrison: Amazing comeback.
that first knockdown, did harrison drop himself with the impact of the kick against his own glove? hard to tell but looks like he blocked the shot...those can still buzz if your glove is right against your head
the thai guy had no idea what to do when hurt, kinda just held his arms out, no chance for him to survive like that with the onslaught coming. harry's hands looked pretty good

I think he took some direct impact high up on the head near the temple.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 19:22 that first knockdown, did harrison drop himself with the impact of the kick against his own glove? hard to tell but looks like he blocked the shot...those can still buzz if your glove is right against your head

Yea he’s only had 200 wins out of 240 fights, he’s no idea what he’s doing, needs more experiencemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 19:22 that first knockdown, did harrison drop himself with the impact of the kick against his own glove? hard to tell but looks like he blocked the shot...those can still buzz if your glove is right against your head

Re: Liam Harrison: Amazing comeback.
his reaction when hurt was awful mate, i think he was probably too buzzed to respond intelligently. he held his arms straight out, wasnt even looking at harrison, didn't move his head, and accordingly he got lit up when harrison followed up. having 240 fights doesnt change what happened in a specific fightWee Tommy wrote: ↑27 Apr 2022, 06:06Yea he’s only had 200 wins out of 240 fights, he’s no idea what he’s doing, needs more experiencemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 19:22 that first knockdown, did harrison drop himself with the impact of the kick against his own glove? hard to tell but looks like he blocked the shot...those can still buzz if your glove is right against your head

tell me this, if you were teaching a fighter how to survive when hurt, would you tell them to stick their arms straight out, look down at the ground, and not move their head?

Tell me this, have you ever been in the heat of a battle before or are you just going on what you see?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Apr 2022, 07:33his reaction when hurt was awful mate, i think he was probably too buzzed to respond intelligently. he held his arms straight out, wasnt even looking at harrison, didn't move his head, and accordingly he got lit up when harrison followed up. having 240 fights doesnt change what happened in a specific fightWee Tommy wrote: ↑27 Apr 2022, 06:06Yea he’s only had 200 wins out of 240 fights, he’s no idea what he’s doing, needs more experiencemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 19:22 that first knockdown, did harrison drop himself with the impact of the kick against his own glove? hard to tell but looks like he blocked the shot...those can still buzz if your glove is right against your head

He will have been taught the clinch, he’s a Thai fighter and hugely experienced from an excellent gym (saenchai) in the heat of the battle, it’s very difficult to do exactly as youve been told especially because he will have felt he was one punch or kick away from ending Lee himself.
Easy to say what someone should do but then put your own experience up against theirs and their trainers and ask yourself what you really know about it mate

No, I wouldn’t and neither would he or his trainers. He was in a battle and he’s been relieved of his sensesmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Apr 2022, 08:01 so would you advise someone to follow what he did if they are hurt?

You said he ‘had no idea what to do when hurt’
That’s what I disagreed with.

Just watching the Haggerty fight mate, god he looks good early. The versatility of his striking is bewildering. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone mix strikes up so well. Never anything like a pattern.

For his age he’s incredibly good. They have him on same card as Rodtang soon, if both win them the trilogy is on

Based on that second round I see Rodtang getting to him again in a 5 round fight.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑28 Apr 2022, 04:00The 'oh my word' was the way Mong exploded in the 2nd![]()

Liam Harrison got $100k bonus for this fight. Good day at the office I’d reckon that’s his biggest payday ever going by Thai purses I’m aware of.
