Was a very good action fight.
Worthy main event. As it was originally planned to be before they slapped it on this card.

Might have been the doc. I know Vargas’ corner was wearing white though. Who knows.gregregegg wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 22:03Yea i caught it on the replay. the ref clearly looks at him and waves it. Good worthy stoppage though. No complaints.
Vargas is too lazy to make 147 isn’t he?

Good win for Smith. Might get him another payday or two.

Give him a Euro Title in Liverpool - he deserves it.

Yeah that would be great.
Presumably would be a PPV Stadium fight in Oz.
Who ya got ?

Listening to Caskill it’s almost like she has a good understanding of the technical nature of boxing but when she fights, she fights like a amateurish and crude slugger.

Id back Tim Tszyu, but it would be the most effective pressure he has ever faced. I think Timmy boy would club some bombs through and around that high guard and rip body shots under it.
Tszyu dosent have the defence to deal with Beefy though, so would have to land some big shots early, and let offence be defence.

I’m not so sure. Could turn into a dog fight which would favour Smith. Does Tim have the pop, poise and activity to keep Smith off? I don’t know but I’d like to find out.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 22:10 tim would win, liam i think falls short at that level and above

not sure a dog fight would favour smith at all, tim's blown away lower level opposition more comprehensively than smith has. and the look of shock on gausha's face was something. smith is good but we've seem his level several times and i think it's lower than tim's.lazboy wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 22:14I’m not so sure. if dudes are getting giddy on this win.......remember that vargas is a career 147 pounder who hasnt fought in 2.5 years. he has 1 win since 2017. he had never fought a full fledged jmw fight. i think tim would've stopped him in a couple rounds tbh

Tim would defo be favourite - especially in OZ - but it's a great fight where no result would be a big price.
Gotta happen.

I’ll think on it. Tim hasn’t fought a tough inside fighter like Smith. Tim is the better technician though, especially from the outside. It’s intriguing.

Could put Featherweight Fury on the under-card.
