Always like Smith, so hope he gets another world title shot.

I rewatched the Canelo fight not long ago. That was a strange one. Smith lost every round, but also managed to make every round competitive, landing some good shots on Canelo throughout. Did much better than Calum and almost reached the glistening heights of Rocky Fielding's performance.

Smith is always fun as an aggressor, putting the work in and making it tough and rough. Vargas was out of his weight class and rusty, though.

Taylor getting starched. Looks dry

That is some atmosphere in the arena. Fair play to Eddie

Doesn’t seem to be any size advantage for Taylor. I thought she’d be the bigger one in there.

She’s landed some ok counters in the first tho.

I’ve given Taylor 4 rounds but AS must have won that big round 10-8.

In saying that I thought round 10 in the first Persoon fight should have gone 10-8 against Taylor but I seem to be the only one who thinks that given there was no knock down.

Wow round 9 and Taylor starting to get a head of steam. Think she’s won this round very clearly with 29 seconds left.

I’ve put some money on the draw here as it’s so close.

Wow I thought Serrano was within 10 seconds of being knocked down at the end there.

Anyone who doesn’t like that fight can f uck right off. Really evenly matched and you can’t moan about the standard as that was 2 very good female fighters.

I feel AS was robbed there. Could see a draw at a push. I had it 85-84 (I give the 6th 10-8). But I give KT 3/5 of the close rounds.

As mentioned I had it a point to Taylor and think my card is as generous as you can be provided you give Serrano the 10-8 round. If you don’t give 10-8 rounds unless there’s a Kd then you can go 96-94 to Taylor.

serrano for me, thought there was a wide gap is notable punches landed. katie doing a lot of air/tapping flurries that i didnt really rate, very amateur point scoring-ish, whereas pretty much every round i thought serrano had her gasping to the body and looking unnerved. even at the end when serrano supposedly almost went down, it was katie's knee a few inches from touching....

taylor gets the benefit of the doubt in close fights it seems

Taylor won that clearly for me 97-93. I can’t see how you can give it 96-94 Serrano.

Chris Mannix giving rounds 2 & 3 to Serrano 😂

i really disagree on taylor sweeping those late rounds, she was throwing completely 'stay off me!' taps and air flurries, while serrano would pick her moments and land the best shots of each round, especially making taylor gasp to the body. taylor showed tons of heart, but until the last round i thought he was boxing a very amateur style fight and preferred serranos' work

That was my first thought!
Also, I bet Beefy's man was going mad when she had to go get a load of new t shirts with Everlast and Sports Direct on at short notice.
