I can have it from 100-89 seranno, to 96-94 serano... 95-95 would be a hella stretch... but its katie.

Those scores are odd....A draw was fair, Serrano by 1 would be fair...not sure how they got those scores for Taylor though.

Serrano really hurt Taylor but I think Taylor squeeked a lot of close rounds . Good fight. Probably a draw tho

The result is a fiction. Boxing should be boxing not some politician statement.

katie won that how not yea serrano landed some big shots , taylor was landing all the time
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano | DAZN - April 30, 2022
"This is the hurt business" or "This is the barely landing technically correct shots business"
Good fight and KT nicking a draw would be fine, but she didn't win.

Had the fight been 3 minute rounds, or 12 rounds, I think Serrano could have possibly gotten a stoppage cuz she was the only one who was really whooping that ass. Don't get me wrong Taylor is a tough girl but the only reason why she got that 97-93 score was because she's a DAZN fighter and Serrano wasn't.
Far as I'm concerned there is something fundamentally wrong with the sport of boxing when it comes to judges. Bad decisions are happening far too often in this business and that basically was a bad decision. A draw would have been tolerable but it should have been the split or majority decision for Serrano.

serrano for me, thought there was a wide gap is notable punches landed. katie doing a lot of air/tapping flurries that i didnt really rate, very amateur point scoring-ish, whereas pretty much every round i thought serrano had her gasping to the body and looking unnerved
taylor gets the benefit of the doubt in close fights

Isnt 2005 amature point fighting. your punches have to do something... Katie landed some neat check hooks, but an infant could of taken them.
Im sure there were rounds where katies punch stats were better, but i dont think there was a single round where katie did more damage. Id rather 1 shot that jacks somones head back than 3 fornicating taps.
only round katie did any damage for me was the 10th, and even in that i think Serrano did more.

Serrano wanted this to be a 12 round fight with 3 minute rounds, but Taylor refused.

Yea and if your lucky and get a rematch you get 25% in the rematch instead of the big slice.adislav123 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 23:20 those are fights for everything. your whole future career depends on it. you work your ass off. you give all you got. you win fair & square... and walk away with empty hands and a big fvckin d up your ass and an L thats forever on your record.

Then you throw in legacy, I still think about the injustice when i got 2nd in the under 6s athletics carnival 100m sprint, because there was a hole in my lane of oval we ran on and i tripped (still got up and had a photo finnish)... Can only Imagine how much copping this would sting to look back on.
