It seems to be political nonsense in my opinion and has really turned me off Taylor. Sure, It’s not her fault she being held up as this idol but it’s distasteful and disrespectful to those other women and the sport.
how you were listening to some american comentator, i gave kt 234 serrano think 5 kt67 serrano 8 kt 9 roughly
I literally gave katie nothing... She didnt land a punch worth recording in the first 9 rounds... her check hook couldent bruise an over ripe peach.

I could see a very vvery crook bias draw. finding 7 rounds for katie would require a stroke and mild blindness.

Taylor winning the first Persoon fight was a travesty and completely wrong.
I had the second a draw, but it could have gone either way and Persoon herself had no complaints.

However the worst scorecard I've seen anyone post from either of those fights or the Serrano fight tonight is your own. No issue with anyone scoring Serrano the winner (afterall there was about a lot of swing rounds tonight), but that's an embarrassingly poor card.
The 2nd round (and one of the later ones) had Serrano hitting very little other than fresh air for the majority of it and getting picked off on the counter.

The 5th (arguably 10-8) and 6th were clear Serrano rounds and tbh everything else is up for debate.

So anything from 98-92 Taylor to 98-91 Serrano fits within that, but of course it's unlikely someone would give either fighter every close round.

Chalk it up to a difference of opinion. Scoring is subjective. I favour hard clean shots over glancing keep away punches. I also rate body punches. Serrano landed hard body punches the first half of the fight which may have been unnoticed by some.
of course lazboy, i respect your take on the fight, opions

good movement but its more like shes just reaching her arms out rather than throwing a proper punch. no pop or snap. she;s a bit like that canadian chick who is something like 20-1 (1). ppl take to her cuz of her looks but her style and attributes sum up what's hard to stomach about women's boxing. nailed on for lots of shutout decisions vs middling opponents.
To be fair to her its how that English coach that was in charge , has been making them fight in the ameteurs , give her a bit of time in the pro's she'll change style a bit

Look admitadly i wasnt actualy tuned in like if i was judging, and i listed many nothing rounds that could/should 10-10s (but peopel hate 10-10s so for the sake of this i tend to avoid them) ... but i certainly cant see any Clear Katie rounds.

Katie outlanded serrano by a narrow margin plenty of rounds no doubt, but i think if your moving back, hitting softer, and you outland someone 13-12, its hard to say you won the round...

Put it this way, If mckinson were to fight spence, and he outlanded spence 15-13 ever round... its pretty likely id have spence winning a shutout...

Was a great fight, KT was in serios trouble midway but came back strong. Many close rounds but I had it in favor of KT 96-94, could be a draw as well and I can understand if they would give it to Serrano but I wouldn´t agree with it. Serrano could take Katies punches coming forward but she was still getting hit.

I don’t think she won the 10th tbh.
That’s how I scored it although the 3rd and 10th were close. I thought KT’s work was cleaner and she was landing more in those rounds.

I had Katie winning the first three. She gassed in the fourth then nearly finished in the 5th. Lost another round then won the with a second wind in the rest. A few close rounds but I had it 96-94. Wouldn't have argued with 95-95. I couldn't see Amanda winning 6 rounds though.

I watched without commentary so not sure if that changed my view from everyone else's but Amanda needed to land more. Katie was faster but it seemed like Amanda had more power and better stamina but she didn't make use of it.

Good fight overall, wouldn't mind seeing it run back. Who else is left for Katie? Gold medalist Yoka Mossley at 10-0 who beat her in the amateurs? WBC/IBF Super Lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron at 15-0? 11-2 unified Welter champ Jessica McCaskill who she has beaten previously? Those should be her only worthwhile targets if she isn't going to retire. Maybe Mikaela Mayer?

I think Serrano Vs Persoon would be a very very good fight...

A fantastic fight. I had Amanda winning by a few rounds. I thought her punches were much more effective.
I say do it again, get their big pay days that they deserve and give the fans another war.

I scored it 98-92 for Serrano. I scored rounds 1-8 for Serrano and 9-10 for Taylor. One of the commentators said that Serrano is smaller. Serrano is taller than Taylor. Also, Serrano has fought at lightweight early in her career. Taylor was clearly tired after the fight. She threw a lot of punches the last two rounds. Serrano was moving forward throughout the fight. Taylor was backing up. Serrano landed more total punches 173-147. Serrano landed more power punches 171-146. I don't even know if those punch stats are correct because it seemed to me that Taylor landed less punches. It's obvious why Taylor did not want to fight 12 rounds with 3 minutes each round as Serrano wanted because Taylor would have lost for sure. If the rematch is in Ireland, Serrano will probably request 12x3 again. Serrano got robbed in this fight.

Yeh, doesn’t seem accurate at all.

Straights don’t count as jabs or do they?

But pretty sure they landed jabs though out.

Who thought McCaskill was going to be a neutral commentator?? I didn't recognise her voice at first and was wondering who this woman was who seemed allergic to giving Taylor

Credit to Josh

Taylor's taking a lot of shots!!

She's landing them too!!

Isn’t it usually Todd Grisham?

There was another guy called Josh yes, but the DAZN one is Todd.

When they said Jessica, I thought it was McCaskill too, but standing next to them was a young black woman. I assume her first name is Jessica. I thought that Claudia Trejos would be also doing the commentating, but she was sitting on a couch with two other guys watching the fight. The video was them talking and reacting to the fight on a television and then their reaction to the judges' scores. It's on DAZN's YouTube channel.
