Someone's getting the timing down here.
Re: Shakur Stevenson vs. Oscar Valdez | ESPN - April 30, 2022
Yeah, even one round to Valdez is fairly generous

Re: Shakur Stevenson vs. Oscar Valdez | ESPN - April 30, 2022
shak sitting down on some shots in the 5th.....wins the round pretty big.
although if valdez has any shot of a homerun counter left hook, he just may need shak to start getting more aggressive

Re: Shakur Stevenson vs. Oscar Valdez | ESPN - April 30, 2022
shak round. Been warned about 10 times for pawing his jab and holding it out there... Id like to see an official warning, and a point if he keeps doing it.
I hate when someone does something to there advantage, but just gets warned and warned and warned and never has to adjust. Be interesting to see if shak could addapt and fight without pawing.

I don't think Valdez was hurt by that punch but it was a a knock down just the same.

A landed punch that causes the fighter to go down is a knockdown. Whether he hit the gloves or not doesn't matter.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 May 2022, 00:16 no i dont think it shouldve been a knockdown, the right hand landed on gloves

Valdez need 3KDs and all the remaining rounds to win by decision imo.

That being called KD or not won't matter in the result of this fight. It's all Shak.

I assumed that was the rule too - beating someone to the canvas with blocked shots should count.mcrow24 wrote: ↑01 May 2022, 00:19A landed punch that causes the fighter to go down is a knockdown. so, let's say dudes throw punches at the same time, one guy clips the others guys extended forearmn with a shot and the guy briefly touches down off balance - should those be ruled as kds then?jezzamundo wrote: ↑01 May 2022, 00:21I assumed that was the rule too - beating someone to the canvas with blocked shots should count.mcrow24 wrote: ↑01 May 2022, 00:19A landed punch that causes the fighter to go down is a knockdown.
