Domination from Stevenson there, 119-108 on my card, Valdez is tough as fck, never stopped trying and had a bit of success with the right hand but he was well and truly beat up, couldn't believe the size difference, Stevenson looked massive and Valdez couldn't really get near him, Stevenson kept him at bay with the jab, held it out there too long at times and along with the repeated low blows should've had a point off but still his quality was there to see, dropped Valdez in the 6th after walking him on to a right hook, Valdez stumbled into the ropes when another right sent him down


Stevenson done as he pleased and toyed with Valdez, jabbed him and nailed him continuously with left hands and punished the body, he could've got him out of there if he tried but he was happy enough to dish out a sustained beating, very impressive

Out of there, he couldn’t. Valdez should have engaged more and thrown down instead of bang the gloves together behind a high guard and look the part of a warrior instead of play it.
Forgettable fight.

Awful fight for me. The moment they stood to touch gloves it looked like Stevenson was 2 weight divisions bigger. Pointless fight in the end.
