Goes over the top because he only plans to pay Dubois 25%

Doesn’t make any of these noises beforehand so he can play innocent after the event - and doesn’t give the heads up to his rival who is bidding under different terms.

There is no way this can come off. Not even the WBA can change the terms of a bid after the event.

Unfortunately the WBA have done and probably will do whatever they want. The way they handled the Charr is situation was a complete joke and that was only a few months back.

Just checked Don Kings promoter page as I started wondering whether he's actually done any real promoting lately. He's promoted two cards on his own in 8 years as far as I can tell from a quick look. Both had Bryan on them, one headlined by Makubu. Venues with capacity of 2.5k and then one with 7k. I'm convinced he has no intention of actually promoting this fight and he's hoping to make money off it another way.

I think we all knew when Don King overpaid for the purse bid, something was up.
He really only has thus fighter and "belt" left of any, albeit meagre value.
He was always going to screw someone. This time it is DDD, Fwank, the fans, and more than likely Bryan as well.

No Way DDD ever gets 45% of this purse. Don king will drag out this court case with WBA. But this is only plan A. If he loses he will have more up his sleeves, Probably book it in Kiev....

DDD should tell WBA to just conceed the splits If the fight happens befor a certain date, Get paid 750,000 instead of 1.4 million.... Big paycut to take, but its better than wasting your time. HE is never ever getting the 1.4, so he has to look at it as a fresh question. "Would you fight trev for 700,000 and a chance at the reg belt", i think the answer to that is yes, so just let him have the splits and try get it to a position where the fight might happen ( in a reasonable time)

DDD has basicaly been waiting for this fight for a year, had a few cheaky waiting fights.. If he can get this fight quick, he can defend the belt quick, BE the big A side for DDD vs Helenious in london for the WBA world title.... make his money back there.

No 10%. No fight and it goes to the second bidder.

The Lopez v Kambosos fight went to the second bidder recently because it became evident the top bidder wasn’t legitimate as well.

King has to put the fight on by the start of July I think. Who knows what will happen. Frank would/should have known this was likely to happen.

Trevor Bryan-Daniel Dubois Heavyweight Fight Set, June 11 At Casino Miami Jai-Alai

Hall of Fame promoter Don King will return to South Florida for his next event.

King has got another night of action as the legendary promoter has put together five title fights headlined by the WBA Heavyweight Championship pitting defending champion Trevor Bryan (22-0, 15 KOs) going up against the number one contender Daniel DuBois (17-1, 16 KOs) from Greenwich, London.

The action-packed evening is set for Saturday, June 11th at the Casino Miami Jai-Alai in Miami, FL in the night the promoter is billing “The Fight for Freedom and Peace”. The fight card will be on Pay-Per-View and an announcement on ticket availability will be made soon.

Bryan recently moved his training camp from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Las Vegas, NV and had a recent visitor in former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes, who worked with the present WBA champ on his jab.

The 32-year-old Bryan will be going up against the younger DuBois, at 24-years of age.

In addition to the main event, the NABA Gold Heavyweight title fight will feature champion DaCarree Scott (7-0, 6 KOs) of Decatur, GA defending his title against another Georgia slugger in Jonathan Guidry (17-1-2, 5 KOs) from Dulac, GA. Guidry’s lone blemish came at the hands of Bryan.

Florida’s NABA Cruiserweight Champion Johnnie Langston (10-3, 4 Kos) of Sarasota, FL will defend his title against Plantation, Florida’s Isaiah Thompson (6-1-1, 5 KOs).

Tre’Sean Wiggins (13-5-3, 7 KOs), of Newburgh, NY will defend his NABA Welterweight championship against Florida’s Travis Castellon (17-4-1, 12 KOs).

Promoter Don King recently signed super lightweight contender Ryan Martin (24-2, 14 KOs) from Chattanooga, TN. Martin is managed by country music superstar Kane Brown and this will be Martin’s first fight under the leadership of Brown.

Martin will take center stage in the fifth title fight of the evening as he goes after the NABA Lightweight Championship against an opponent to be named.
