seriously.

those 3 scorecards alone are bulletproof evidence those judges were corrupted.

they really fvcked themselves in the knee having canelo ahead after 9, even after 10.

how can they evrr be allowed to 'judge' a fight again. everything was prepared for the robbery.

they just dodn't go thru with it cause NO WAY TO JUSTIFY IT ANYHOW EVEN REMOTELY!

BUT THE EVIDENCE FOR THE SYNCHRONISED ATTEMPT TO GUCK BIVOL IS BLACK & WHITE ON PAPER!!!

well done bivol.

First 4 rounds were close, but the odds of 3 fair and independent judges giving them all to Canelo is remote. Incredibly remote.
I'm astonished and perplexed at those scorecards!!

i bet about 0.000001 percent of people aside from those judges scored the fight that way....i certainly havent seen one yet.......yet they all did it the exact same

either an instance of incredible chance, or something a bit slimier

Bivol had to win that last round or it would have been a draw :o

So, there was a rematch clause and now the contender, who has been outclassed, will use it?

Well said. Afghanistan too.

Not to mention dodgy US dealings in Ukraine.

It's understandable that Ukrainians are upset but some other people either seem to either have very short memories or just want to use sport as another weapon.

There are words for people like that.

gregregegg wrote: 08 May 2022, 00:46 Fair play to Bivol. Dont want to hear about canelo being outsized, becuase i think he was heavier than Bivol in there.

I will accept canelo went past his prime weight. needs to shed a bit of mass.

They could rematch 168 for undisputedd..... that would be juicy. ( but canelo will probably want 175 again to risk bivols belts not his, but id like it at 168.)
It’s about size/reach not just weight. Besides what was their weight on the night?

margaret thatcher wrote: 08 May 2022, 01:02 ya, i noticed canelo also seemed stung more than usual. when he was hit he was never hurt but got a look of concern.

in his 2 lhw fights he's had a pretty much even fight before stopping shopworn kov, and was handled by bivy. he's still very good but clearly not his optimum weight i think
Yeah. It is pretty nuts that he's even in there fighting a top light heavyweight. Can't knock the hustle.
I do assume he's had too many people around him telling him that he's unstoppable and indestructible for him to be realistic about his limitations without finally being handed an L like this.

Something just doesn’t sit right with these figures.

It’s hard to see.

Can’t argue with that.

But I think rd9 was a clear Canelo round.

The ONLY clear round he won.

I'd say, there were no clear Canelo rounds. Only a couple of close ones early on, which I gave to Canelo. The vast majority was clearly Bivol's.

Bivol has an interpreter and speaks better English than Canelo.

Haven't seen the fight, and now I'm curious if:
1 - Bivol just too big
2 - Alvarez had an off night
3 - Bivol better than i had thought
4 - Some mix of first 3.

Would love to hear your opinions as I'm not sure I care to sit through the fight.
