Sad news. Blin was not a world-beater but - that said, he beat a lot of good men.

I was reading about him the other day, RIP Jurgen Blin - he had a hard life but hit the heights also. A life well lived. :salut:

RIP Juergen Blin. He was one of the opponents, who outlived Ali. Blin also fought Joe Bugner and Ron Lyle.

Anyways, RIP Blin. :salut:

I thought that he gave Ali a pretty good scrap, although the fight was only in a 17 ft ring. But clearly he was just a European level heavyweight. But that fight always makes me think that had Ali fought Marciano in a similar sized ring there's no way Ali would've won.
