DAZN Matchroom Italy show rbr

Post by jameswilson »

Luis Romero v Amazon Prodan just finished.

Odd one. Prodan looked to me to be losing the first few rounds and looked off. Bookies had Romero at 9.5 in play despite this. I slammed £75 on Romero who a few rounds later stops Prodan.

Romero’s left hook was his go to punch throughout. One to keep an eye on at that level for sure and a very entertaining fight.

I got in late from work so missed the first fight.

Main event looks not too bad and the atmosphere as well seems pretty good which can’t be said of many Italian shows down the last 10 years or so.

The women's match is a dud. They are clinching and fouling, not an ounce of boxing.

One of the worst I’ve seen. The Italian girl was dirty as hell. Lot of butting.

I caught the end of the Romero fight, good finish. Women’s fight was terrible.

Main event is a good one so far.
Scardina stunned at the end of the first. Stunned again at the end of the second.

Both getting stuck into each other.

Good atmosphere again, looks pretty full up to me.

I have been in that arena, and yes, it looks full. De Carolis 29 - 28 to me, close third round, Scardine suffered two serious blows in the first two.

Scardina KOd heavily.

Took an enormous series of shots to get out down, ref gave him a very long count before waving it on. Carollis lands just as the bell sounds so a lot of confusion.

Fight restarts after the break between rounds and Scardina gets laid out.

Entertaining main event. Referee needs shooting.

Zucco may be lacking technically compared to Scardina but the guy demolished one of Toretto's best opponents from amateurs, and by looking at his impressive stoppages I have recently started to think he is a more real than Scardina. This was too much of a heavy KO to put it on the difference of experience.

Prodan didn't look off, he has limited ring IQ and can only go forward with poisonous but basic shots. Romero moved well, countered him, and the work was done.

Oronzo looked decent on his footwork and speed but lacked consistency; he is still green, nonetheless.
