I mean in terms of marketable fights these are two possible good opponents for Golovkin.

GGG could not get wrong with these opponents.

I wish he'd fight Benavidez, but Eubank would be the easiest paycheck for him. Munguia will give him a bit of a fight, but I don't see Munguia winning outside of a round or two.

If I’m GGG, I’m not ever signing up to fight Munguia. He’s a full meal. Starters, entree and dessert. He’s not going anywhere. He’s not hitting the canvas anytime soon and he’s going to keep throwing bombs until that final bell. Who the hell wants to eat at that place? Not me. I’d prefer a Eubank Jr. or even a Benn. I think Benn is probably the best option bc I don’t think that he’s been hit by anyone with pop yet. I think GGG puts either to sleep but he may gain more public appeal by giving Benn his first defeat while shutting his dumb mouth up at the same time. So that would be my choice.

Why not Benavidez vs Charlo, Andrade or Zurdo ? These guys need to risk their 0! They have no meaningful fights.

Probably Eubank Jr in UK would be a better pick for GGG in terms of money.

At least Eubank fought some decent opponents in Groves and DeGale-which is Jr's best win.

I’d love to see Gennadiy Golovkin facing Zhanibek Alimkhanuly for passing-of-the-torch type fight between two Kazakhstani’s, marking the end of one era and the start of a new one.

How bout a unification, GGG v Andrade ?
Andrade still has his WBO belt, I know there’s a fight for the interim, but I’m sure the WBO could be “persuaded” to let Andrade defend again.
Does he really have a shoulder injury, or did he know he could hold tight for a bigger pay day ?

You have to be kidding. Andrade is the fighter that has ducked three divisions. The guy just isn't about taking tough fights. I have zero faith he'll ever fight anyone, and I'm hoping he spirals into irrelevance soon.

Don't tell me that. These "prizefighters" don't want to take risks. They're all looking for a Canelo payday and have stagnated 2 divisions with their nonsense!

If GGG had any intention of fighting Munguia it would already have happened.
That fight is not going to happen.
GGG taking the good reward, zero risk Eubank next.

I think eubank is a riskier fight for GGG than mung. I dont think he is better but sometimes he can move decently.

mung is there to be hit, but he dishes it back. Eubank is a decent mover but not amazing offencivly.... Even at 40 GGG is pretty scary when it comes to a game of no headmovement, his jab alone is terrifying. but GGG at 40 is there to be outmoved.

Would be a hero Kazakstan move that. Taking the hardest fight, for the least reward. but, giving an oppertunity to his countryman.

Kaz has a 30,000 person roofed stadium, it would be an epic fairwell fight to doing in kazakstan. just do a massive cross promotion fight and get all the big kazakstan names on it (could be done with a lil percentage going to there promoters).

Yes, but not by Eubank.
Beating GGG still requires an opponent that is actually good...........not a protected fraud with a famous last name.

Indeed, no Lara, no Hurd, no Chenko, no Korobov and no Zhanibek fights that could've been made more easily. Andrade is hoping for that big Canelo payday.

GGG vs Eubank Jr in UK would make the most sense if no Canelo III.

Would Sky be ok with Eubank fighting on DAZN ?
Would DAZN want to give Eubank a big pay day ?
I think not ….

GGG won't go up to 168 unless it is for Canelo retirement money. Munguia has been protected from the top guys, he seems to want only GGG? Is he retiring soon? :OhYes:
