Zorro is looking good, but he's in danger of giving rounds away being lazy.

Dave Coldwell commentating. I wonder if he’s turned the heat up!?

Did Adam Smith just say ‘bless him’?

Who’s the woman commentating? She knows nothing about boxing but she’s tidy
Re: Boxxer Series 3.0: Cruiserweights - 14 May 2022
Yeah classy.
It's gone a bit dull because Zorro is too good. He's got ahead then saved his energy.

I’m sick of this disgusting language. I’m turning over. Sorry Adam, your apologies are not enough

What was the ref playing at? He was done and shouldn't have taken that final shot.

Great stuff from Ricky Reeves there - so rare to get such a stirring come-from-behind KO like that
Re: Boxxer Series 3.0: Cruiserweights - 14 May 2022
The referee should have stopped it, on his feet or not.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑14 May 2022, 16:33Right. But he was still on his feet. Apologies for the language though
Also, I'm sure I read somewhere that broadcasters are supposed to apologise for bad language. I can't remember where so I don't know how accurate that is.
As strange as Adam Smith can seem at times, I'm sure even he doesn't want to apologise for a couple of f words.
It would make sense if they just had a 'this programme contains violence and strong language' at the start, like before the Sopranos.

Yeah I don’t usually like these prizefighter things. But this one has been good. Usually the heavies and cruisers are fun. But truthfully it shouldn’t be relevant to pro boxingskanksta wrote: ↑14 May 2022, 16:39JamesPhilips wrote: ↑14 May 2022, 16:30 I’m sick of this disgusting language. I’m turning over. Zorro did look tired to me at the end of his semi, but unfortunately not tired enough to even up the final.

BTW who is the fat guy interviewing? I think like I recognise him but he seems bigger
Re: Boxxer Series 3.0: Cruiserweights - 14 May 2022
This type of format seems to get a lot of stick but as others have said, it's really enjoyable when it's done properly. As long as the gaps between fights aren't too long, it works.
Looking forward to this final, should be a cracker. I think Ricky might be too tired having fought second going in to this though, Zorro seemed to manage the pace well.

As entertainment yes. But it shouldn’t count for much in the professional ranks. 3 round fights are largely meaningless. Reeves and Zorro look identical

Adam Smith just said that there’s intense heat in there…Dave Coldwell smiled.
