Good question -- which leads me to recall I once suggested -- i think in a post on this board -- some sort of tko code that would explain the stoppage -- ie
TK! -- 3 knockdown rule
TK@ -- cut eye
TK$ -- referee stops fight
TK* -- fighter not out for round indicated
ETC
I don't think ANYONE even commented! We do now have the (in my mind horrible) notation "W RET" for corner stoppages. What I suggested was a unifrom way of indicating bouts other than ten-counts.
Maybe I will start to implement something like this on the CBZ.
