Kov looks sharper, but his legs look weak. If pulev can pressure and lean he should take over late, although he just got a harrrrd warning very early for stuffing kovs head down and leaning on him.

Kovalev's round. Tervel has far more activity than his brother, but he doesn't look like he has the power to deter Kovalev. Kovalev used to spar CW's, so he's not entirely out of his element.

Wow, Kovalev looking very speedy at CW. Kind of crazy to see him outspeeding Tervel. I hope he doesn't get hit with something big and KO'd. Kovalev is interesting at CW.

2-0 kov, kov's obviously more skilled,, a matter of whether pulev can enforce himself and catch up to him

Man, I'd love to see Kovalev capture a title at CW. His power isn't looking like it's as lethal as it was at LHW, though. Dude stopped Caparello with a jab, IIRC. Tervel is handling the punches well.

Probably Kovalev want to box and get rid of the rust. He can stop Tervel, if he puts more effort.

Pulev needs to make it dirty, and tire kov. even if he is getting warnings, even if he is losing points, got to wear kov down.

p.s does shawn porter know about 5 words? he is questioning so many words from his commentator buuddies....

I doubt it. Kovalev is a little chinny. I'm sure he'd prefer to end this. Hard to tell if he brought his power at CW. It's not looking like that's the cases.

Maybe so. Anyway, Tervel is appearing to be an easy matchup so far.

tervel needs to apply himself way more to have any chance, he's never gonna win a low output boxing match

Okay, Tervel is going full on dirty. That was a Briedis-esque elbow. Probably got Kovalev's legs there.

frustrating from pulev. he needs to rumble. make it a brawl, its hard to jab in a brawl. body, head, just rough and tumble. because he is losing a shut out boxing.
