MCClellan knocks out Hearns-I just don't like Hearns' chin against big punchers.

I will lean towards the great Thomas Hearns by Unanimous decision. But, like goose have said, I don't trust Hearns chin with great punchers. I think that Hearns would outbox The G-Man.

Never will know exactly how good or great McClellan could have been considering the lights went out permanently a bit too soon, but even with his career cut short he's still one of the 100 greatest all-time punchers in boxing history.

That being said I will go with McClellan to weather the storm against Hearns and stop him somewhere around the 8th round.

I thought so too as the Hitman would outbox the G-Man without fighting him on the inside too much to take a decision or else the G-Man would knock him out in the late rounds.

I like McClellan in this one.

Not only was he vicious, he had a titanium chin too, just ask Julian Jackson.

I think McClellan had the chin to stand up to Hearns's Right hand scud missile and he would pressure Hearns and we all know how it ended when Hearns couldn't flatten an opponent and was put under pressure.

McClellan by stoppage in Round 6.

To be fair to Hearns that was down to Hagler.

Marvellous Marvin initiated a street fight, because at that stage in his career, he'd lost his speed and his best chance of winning was to gamble on his chin and lure his opponent into a bar room brawl.

Hearns being the warrior that he was would never back down from such an opportunity, although in hindsight, it was a stupid move.

Mugabi also stupidly took the bait the following year, but SRL was having none of it the year after that.

McClellan had never defeated the caliber that Hearns had. Surely, Hearns had vulnerable chin, but he could bang himself and he couldn't been outboxed even by prime Leonard. I can see Hearns getting to McClellan faster and knocking him out.
