I'm all for boxers making the best money they can, but I tend to think that a fighter needs to create interest before they should try the PPV route. This fight really doesn't deserve to be PPV, Thoughts?

While this fight is one hell of a fight for a 5 fight novice, so it deserves financial reward, i think its short sighted.

Rather than makeing a couple hundred grand in a weak PPV, id rather Huni fight often of free TV for less money, and build loyal fans befor full PPV mode.

I think tanks made the same mistake (although nowhere near this early).

Huni is going to run out of PPV partners in australia very very quick, mckeen, jr Fa, terizinski, sonny bill williams, mabeyyyy brown if he dosent get smacked out early. Then he has to go out into deep international waters.

With the event now only 2 weeks away, the current four fight undercard is very mediocre for those prepared to fork out their hard-earned for a PPV.

Yes but he was a world rated ameteur , so its obvious he will look good against the competition he's been in with , did'nt look so flash against Gallen who lets have it right is really just a tough hardcase rugby player who took up boxing late in life ,,, he should'nt be ppv ,, in fairness its not just him neither should most the others that do it .. For me unless its against top competition it should'nt be ppv ,, but does'nt matter because i will not buy it

To be fair, he has had the toughest first 5 fights (going on 6) iv seen as a young pro, non olympian, no WSB fights.. and thats with an injury in the middle.

Opolu is durable and decent, and strait into a 10 rounder.
Fosso is and experenced amature, decent and a 10 rounder.
Maris was more standard prospect fodder.
Tsoye is an experenced amature and a big tough pro.
Gallen is a rugby player sure, but he was also a 10-0 pro boxer thats tough and fit as fornicate.
Goodal is an experenced amature and a knockout artist in the pros, and undefeated.

of coarse there not world beaters, but most of the guys he is fighting are prime and hungry, not just old there to collect some retirent money.

I agree that he has gone ppv too early, making world champ cash (not heavyweight world champ cash) as a 5-0 guy though... so i mean, its nice to have a house paid for and stuff early incase you get hurt, but id rather see him build a big following on free TV befor cashing in.

On reflection i may be going a bit too hard on him because really it is Aust and there is no free to air boxing to get him out there , well non i know off , i suppose that does mean on reflection if his management can get him earningh enough to buy a house and pay for it at an early age there doing a great job , either way he is a boxer , he's trying so good on him wish him luck ..
Although i do think he's up against it , is he talented , he sure is , but i doubt he's big enough or hits hard enough to compete with the top level and i think he may be too big to drop a weight , but wish him luck

He is a fit 240lb at 23. not too small. I get the questions around his power, although i have a feeling he has just been in with some incredibly tough sculls. dont think he is a banger by anymeans, but i think he has enough to keep people honest. Very much like a young joe parker.

huni has hand speed , mobility, skill..........just not a banger

he's not that small, 6'4 and in decent nick at 240.........might actually be a touch bigger than joe parker, who looks fleshier at the same weight

he's got a good future for sure, but defo could do with some more pop. i think gallen's the only guy he's managed to drop, and that was at the end of a 10 round beatdown

goodall kinda gives me poor man's joe joyce vibes.......slow and plodding but a big strong bloke who kept coming. even his am results are a bit like a poor man's joyce...............years of winning national titles and fighting internationally. has some international medals, though not as many as slow joe

kinda looks like a lighter skin version of him too
