I'll be updating the Leaderboard standings later on.
But for the time being, the fight pick commitee can please assemble for the next round of selections please (and no Inoue vs Donaire unfortuntaly).

There's no major standout fights, but some familiar names in action.
Bryan vs Dubois has some intruigue I guess...
Few UK domestic fights that look fairly even on paper...

Shout out what you think...

So we have:

Bryan vs. Dubois

Berlanga vs. Angulo

Liam Davies vs. Mark Leach (For the Brits)

Riakporhe vs. Turchi

Hiroto Kyoguchi vs. Esteban Bermudez (Friday on DAZN)

Munguia vs. Kelly

Bakhodir Jalolov vs. Jack Mulowayi (Friday on SHO)

^^^^^

7 fights there. And these are headlines. Unless there are some even fights on the undercards.

If I was to narrow it down, I’d take out Davies-Leach

And probably between Riakporhe-Turchi or Jalalov-Mulowayi, although it’s a good prospect fight.

Going on the assumption that both inoues are too soon to have fair picks it becomes an intersting week. Many decent fight that are fringe worthy but probably not. and no standouts.

Bryant vs DDD

munguia vs Kelly

Riakpor vs turchi

Brown vs Cheli

Kongo vs formella.

Berlanga vs angulo

Nursultanov vs papschi

Hiroto Kyoguchi vs bermudez

George arias vs Green

Huni vs Goodal (10 days away, but a midweeker so if you were going to place it it would mabey be in the picks for next weekend.)....

DDD vs bryant, Riakpor vs turchi would be my two main picks. out of the rest its really personal preference.

Dacarree Scott vs Jonathan Guidry is a decent step up fight for Scott and not an outright gimme if anyone interested in adding prospects to our list.

I just don't want to buy into the DDD Bryant thing
It's a circus sideshow with Don the dirty dildo King as the ringmaster.

Munguia vs Kelly
Riakpor vs Turchi
Kongo vs Formella.

:maybe:

Thanks for the input all, and it seems to be a whole lot of not much! I want to try and go with high profile (and like it or not Bryant-Dubois is probably the main fight of the weekend), and more even contests.

Bryant-Dubois is in

I like this....would never have picked this, but I like the back story aspect.

These just seem like gimme stay busy fights, same with Munguia & Berlanga....

I'll be posting the thread soon.

It's a bit poor alright.
No shortage of boxing, but a shortage of anything close to 50/50 as per usual.

we should have bert vs smith of course

and abraham nova - robesiys ramirez

there's jack bateson vs diego ruiz (guy who drew with mcgregor) for a possible uk fight to mix up the location, since pretty much all the decent fights this week look to be in the us

salek is a bit too much of a patsy for me, but then again dont we all need a fight to pad our prediction records

tbh, i actually think the harder the week is, the fewer ppl who will play

Good shout that fight.

TBH, it's a bit daft if fewer people play if its a harder week. If you don't play/pick anyone, you get no points. If you guess and get it right, then you get something.

I'm wondering if, given the drop off in numbers (We've had 37 total players, but only around 13-15 regular players...and even less that have played every single week), do we wrap up this league at the end of June? And start a new one, all on zero points for the second half of the year?

We might get more players, if people have seen it's been ongoing and are interested but didn't want to join in part way through.

Thoughts?

oogie being protected by the powers that be. they all know i woulda taken over later this year

tbh, maybe if we just had monthly champs, people would be more inclined to participate. seems like less of a long haul and if you fall behind you can start again soon
