Apparently Kambosos wasn't letting Haney see the belts.

Child behaviour much.

Can't believe this fight isn't talk of the forum :maybe:
OK, so Loma is busy right now, but we got the second best option.
This is for all the marbles.
Two unbeaten fighters.
The #1 guy vs the #3 guy.
Sweet science vs tough brawler

This could be FOTY.

People don’t Rate Haney. That’s probably why.

Oh...
Heck, I think he is mad skilled. Maybe he hasn't faced top of the top competitors yet, but from what I have seen he is a hard night for anyone.
I thought his win against Linares was decent, and he boxed the ears off Joey D. I rank him #3 in the division behind Kambosos and Lomachenko in that order.

Loved the way Kambosas backed himself went overseas left his familly , took the fights offered ,made a success , worked hard , and shown that grit determination and heart can carry you a long way ,, However do not like to this cocky version , confidence is good arrogance is,nt

You're right.
It's a trade fight.
Hardly anyone outside the mainstream knows these two very well.
Wasn't that long ago that I was hailing Teo, along comes Kambosos and blows everything wide apart.
Haney is a solid boxer, we'll find out how good on Saturday.
The style match up looks sound.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Its weird that lightweight can be one of the most stacked divisions and yet this fight still has a bit of a "who cares" vibe to it. honestly even from myself at times. I do care, but its not something iv been counting down on my calander.

But still its quality and ill be keen to see the winner vs Loma, Tank, Garcia, Shakur or Teo...

Thing is, we are boxing fans, we know the fighters, the poll isn't too lopsided, and that's why I don't understand the lack of excitement about it.

Intriguing fight for sure, but weirdly not a lot of suspense, because there’s only two probable results: points win for either one - and neither result is going to surprise anyone too much.

And unless Dev completely stands George on his head, or George proves just too tough for the American, the fickle judges will be playing a major role….

Haney is mirroring exactly what George did last year, bravery going over to the other guy’s backyard and taking on the main man.

Really like George but his diatribe about rats at the press conference the other day was jarringly bad; I think the American is a very decent guy and I feel sorry for him really, having to go over there without his dad or trainer..he’s a long way from home ( is Hearn no longer his promoter ? )

it’s a toss up but I think the Aussie with the crowd behind him could get it over the line

Not seen or heard anything from Dev to compare him to a bad boy like Tank, maybe I’m not paying as close attention as you, what’s the problem?

George is a great fighter, but Jesus his diatribes in the run up to this either send you to sleep or make you wish he’d shut up for a minute ..no wonder Haney has turned to God for help

About both of them. The Aussie has been pushed to the limit only once. The big lips will experience this for the first time right now. That's why the matchup is excellent.

My man :salut:
Pity Linares was just a bit past it, we would have a better idea about Haney if Jorge wasn't a bit slow footed by the time they fought.
Definitely going to learn about both of them.

Yeah, Linares was faded. Still big lips wasn't looking stellar against him. Of course, prospects are to develop, so against Kambo he can be better. Yet I feel some vulnerability in him, while Kambo is a one tough mofo for sure. I guess, George will score a KO.

Kambosos vs Haney : The judges are Zoltan Enyedi (Hungary), Pawel Kardyni (Poland), and Benoit Roussel (Canada). The referee will be Hector Afu of Panama.

No Aussies or Americans involved. What are your thoughts on this officiating crew?

I think it doesn’t matter where the judges are from.

It depends on where the fight takes place.

We’ve still seen dodgy scores from random judges who are not affiliated with the country.

So there really isn't any (legal) way to watch this fight outside Australia, UK and US? What a shame. Man it's difficult to follow the sport from Finland.

Try Fite. They can be cheaper than what terrestrial TV companies charge.
Also it will be on youtube within days.

It's not on Fite. Isn't it strange that money cannot solve these kind of issues in 2022?

Yes.
And it is sometimes difficult to follow a fighter if your a fan, not to mention expensive.
I can't get any fight shown on the English BT Sport channel and have to wait until it is on youtube, also ESPN+ can't be bought from my country - even though I have Sky Sports and they show ESPN 1 & 2
Frustrating :witzend:

And then I take a deep breath, avoiding spoilers, and watch it on youtube a few days later :D

I am appalled at your childish racism towards Haney. WTF is wrong with you dude? Not the first time. Maybe I was just raised differently than you. People can't help what their skin color is, facial features, etc. Apologies if you were referring to your wife or mom. Grow up or get TF out.
