Buffy looks like he has had some sort of aggressive chemical peel.
The dude is in his 70's, not sure why he would bother with that now.

Haney’s cutman Bob Ware was detained at Melbourne airport. Something to do with a VISA application discrepancy.
Also Bill Haney was granted an 11th hour VISA.

That’ll give Dev a huge boost having dad there, some reporting he’ll at least be at ringside …what the hell are they going on about ? If he’s there, he’s gonna be in the corner.
And big advantage not having Ben Davidson there as well

It's on Haney's time which at least helps. (Although keeping your sleep pattern till then is weird).
Need some Greeks/Australians to find where Haney's staying and just have a big party alllllll night tonight and tommoriw night..

Not for me. Genuinely excited for this 50/50 fight to see who will become King of probably the most intriguing division in boxing. Big respect for Kambosos taking on the very best rather than taking a homecoming parade mismatch.gregregegg wrote: ↑01 Jun 2022, 00:58 Its weird that lightweight can be one of the most stacked divisions and yet this fight still has a bit of a "who cares" vibe to it. honestly even from myself at times. I do care, but its not something iv been counting down on my calander.
But still its quality and ill be keen to see the winner vs Loma, Tank, Garcia, Shakur or Teo...
It’s a shame Lopez will be moving up but like you said the rest of them there is genuine intrigue to see who is the best of the best in this division. Lomachenko still in the mix and if he can come back and take his titles then he will be a solidified ATG if he isn’t already.

Re: George Kambosos vs. Devin Haney | ESPN - June 4, 2022
i think its going to be a cracker this fight, boxer v the spatan warrior, things help both fighters haney fought Linares simalr fighter to kambo pressure fighter , kambo beat a tricky fighter in selby yea both of the fighters were past there best but , i think kambo can win this i think haney chin is questionable as his legs buckle when big shots hit,and he does get hit as slick as he is , tho haney is a great boxer aslo has size and reach on kambo, funny i could see this being an easy win for haney if he boxed smart on the back foot but i reckon kambo will land and will have success heart wants kambo head says haney ko win late 10rds

Another Finn here. Sucks to not be able to watch the fight, for some reason I thought it was on DAZN. Oh well.JackSprocket wrote: ↑02 Jun 2022, 15:43 So there really isn't any (legal) way to watch this fight outside Australia, UK and US? What a shame. Man it's difficult to follow the sport from Finland.

Since you're so narrow minded, I should explain you that there's no fanaticism in my critics. Kambo slapping big lips won't be more satisfying than picking up a penny on the street.Bandog wrote: ↑03 Jun 2022, 09:59My bad. Re: George Kambosos vs. Devin Haney | ESPN - June 4, 2022
Think that the 11th hour arrival of Haneys dad acctually works against him. More drama in camp, fellow suffering from jetlag etc.
Its interesting how Kambosos was trying to get inside of Haneys head. It looked like he failed but still George just landed the first right hand during that interview so now Haney has to get his respect back.
Haney is the US fighter that is most likely to become the next Floyd Mayweather or RJJr or something of the sort.
If Kambosos wins then it's sort of hard to compare him to anyone else. Best comparison I can think of is Bernard Hopkins. A great fighter staying at his weight and dominating, still the way he came up is very different from the way BHop came up.

Stevenson seems the more apt comparison to Mayweather. Agree that Kambosos doesn't seem to be getting in Devin's head too much at all.H8Usernames wrote: ↑04 Jun 2022, 16:25 Think that the 11th hour arrival of Haneys dad acctually works against him.
