Fa is not great but he is not bad. He just got cracked behind the ear (or even back of head) and everything got scrambled. freak shot and can happen to anyone.

Fa going a compeditive 12 with parker, beating parker multiple times in the amatures, beating Makhamadov in WSB ect, proves he is a decent fighter more than 1 sloppy shot Koing him proves he is a bad fighter.

raz cojanu went 12 with parker too, joe very rarely if ever stops anyone half decent. also keep in mind that fa was ko'd by headshots multiple times in the amateur, was rocked by tiny jayson aloese early in his career, and then dropped by dominic guinn's corpse not too long ago. now been brutally ktfo in 1 by browne. so even though he went 12 with joe he had a history of a suspect chin. im not so sure it was a freak shot.

i certainly didnt expect this result, because browne looked totally shot. but have always found fa to be a sloppy, unimpressive fighter. he's struggled numerous times vs limited opposition and doesnt have a single notable win. around the lower top 50 seems his range.

tbh i wouldnt mind a rematch, it is possible that fa just got caught cold, also that he could get to browne first if junior came out swinging next time. basically fa hardly got to throw any punches

what are the chances we get huni vs browne next, or is big lucas looking too dangerous now

Being upset by Lucas Browne is an absolute fiasco. And it looked brutal.

The shite run Lucas Browne’s been on that is a bad one.

Hopefully doesn’t result in more Browne pay days over here.

Brown has a shocking number of options after this. especialy if it gets him world ranked.

-Huni
-Gallen II
-Sonny bill williams
-Babic
-Romford bull
-wardly
-Jar anderson.
-frazer clarke
-sonny conto
-Thun
-dacres
-nick web
-david adeley
-Gorman
-Guido
-Fa
-Hemi
-Dempsy mckean
-Charr

All of those guys should be speaking to there managers and saying, send ol lucus an offer.

Was literally my first thought after seeing the fight last night, he'll probably get one more payday off the back of this and get sent into orbit for the final time  couldn't believe it to be honest.

Solomon Dacres has been calling him out since he beat Sokolowski and then subsequently got injured. His social media has again called him out this morning.

Is there a Commonwealth heavyweight champ at the moment? I’d imagine there will be a scramble to try and get that round someone’s waist off the back of beating Browne.

Fa can't be taken seriously after that. Brown looked finished 4 years ago.

It actually makes sense for this fight to happen. Chisora needs a win and Browne is looking for a big payout.

Chisora vs Browne is an okay fight when it’s 4th fight away from the main.

As a main event… well that will be something.

Chisora v Browne can actually be sold which is scary.

Browne makes a big wad of money and Chisora gets back to winning ways. It makes almost too much sense

Browne is still a lump with power and that shot hit him on the back of the head and scrambled his brains.

The way Fa was on the deck, the ref should have waved it off.

It happens. Browne is done at any decent level.

Fa is pretty crap, but can’t necessarily read too much into that result, looked like a freak shot which completely scrambled him.

Joyce vs Browne anyone?

I really hope he doesn't come back over to the UK. The Gallen "knockout" looks ever more moody..

It's not that I want to see it, but relatively short late notice/tight budget/"name value" etc etc.

Dear God ... NO.

Despite the number of stoppages on his record Joyce isn't really a one punch banger, I could see poor old Browne taking a sickening one sided bludgeoning for three or four rounds before he gets stopped.

It wouldn't be pleasant.
Agreed. It would be a slow painful pummeling.

Imagine the even greater uproar if Browne ices Joyce in a round !!
Frank will shoot himself. Ringside. In the post fight interview by Ole Adapo. 1965 Smith Weston. Engraved with ‘fornicate Barry Hearn’.
