Only seen T.Inoue a couple of times befor, and a round of this, but i do really rate him. If he had his brothers power he would be a world champ for sure. nothing amazing, but Sharp acurate combos.

He unloaded some visibly huge punches on the guy, but none of those broke him.gregregegg wrote: ↑07 Jun 2022, 06:35 Only seen T.Inoue a couple of times befor, and a round of this, but i do really rate him. A lot of people would be out after receiving all that stuff. But not Donaire.

A classic case, when the older fighter gets brutalized more in the rematch.

Inoue is a beast and the single most dominant champ of any division, He is soooooo clearly number 1.
Hope Buttler gets offered enough money to take that beating.

Donaire didn’t wanna go down.
Could have a few times.
I think he still beats most in the division..
But there is no beating Inoue.

Yeah, he's extremely tough, especially for his age.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑07 Jun 2022, 08:31 Donaire didn’t wanna go down.

Inoue vs buttler. Then down to (or invite them up) estrada andthen Choc. then garry antonio russle at 118. Then allll the fuking belts at 122. then fuk it go knock some 126ers out.
Hope japan and toprank really go all in on inoue. seems like the type of guy interested in pride/legacy, lets get him in 2-4 big fights a year (depending on how tough they end up being)...

It seems like the most competetive matchups for Inoue gotta be out of the current bantam roster.
Re: Naoya Inoue vs. Nonito Donaire II | ESPN - June 7, 2022
39 years old or not, looking levels above Donaire like that isn't easy. Inoue is up there p4p.

Boxing superstar Naoya 'The Monster' Inoue adds WBC bantamweight title, improves to 23-0 with second-round KO of Nonito Donaire
Naoya Inoue is known as "The Monster" for good reason.
When he met Nonito Donaire in November 2019, Inoue was genuinely tested for the first time in ESPN's Fight of the Year. He defeated Donaire (42-7, 28 KOs) via unanimous-decision on that night, but 31 months later, Inoue made easy work of the future Hall of Famer.
Inoue (23-0, 20 KOs) floored Donaire with a sharp right hand in the closing seconds of their bantamweight title unification on Tuesday in Japan, and then dropped him again in Round 2.
A left hook from Inoue stunned Donaire, before the Japanese star trapped him in the corner and unleashed a barrage of punches that floored him a second time.
Donaire, 39, beat the count, but was in no shape to continue and the referee stopped the bout at 1:24 of the round.
With the victory, Inoue added a third 118-pound title and cemented himself as ESPN's No. 2 pound-for-pound boxer.
