Boxxer’s new heavyweight signing…

Post by maverick23 »

So Ben Shalom’s done a couple of interviews today saying that they’ve signed a heavyweight which will be formally announced on Monday.

Any ideas who?

I was thinking perhaps Wardley or Johnny Fisher but I thought both were still tied to Matchroom. Perhaps David Adeleye or an outside bet of Joe Joyce. I know he was announced for a BT show but it’s all gone quiet since then with no opponent named.

The only overseas one I could see would be Wallin.

Wallin seems like a good shout, the most likely of that bunch I'd say. Like you I can't really see who else it could be. Hunter? Kabayel? Helenius? Not sure what their promotional situations are like. It's too lowkey to be a Parker or a Whyte or Joyce I'd say.

Whyte? Bakole? Gassiev or Kabayel would be good if he can't actually get them fighting.

Can't think of many others that would be worth going on about.

Bakole I thought of, that's another good shout. Wallin seems more likely, but yh wouldn't be too surprised if it's Bakole.

Bakole may well be a good shout. Could be in some fun fights.

Tom Little. Joking

Outside bet of Cabbage the Babic; he happily states that if Hearn can’t get him a Rivas or other big fight next then Hearn “will be demoted in the Babic army”.

Whatever the fornicate that means.

I don’t know his contractual status but who knows.

Bakole's stock must have risen after he smashed up Yoka .
