Top 10 Ways that Inidicate you are an Ali Fan

Post by Ambling Alp »

Just for fun, here are the top 10 ways you that indicate that you are a Muhammad Ali Fan:

10. You have called your children Rabbit, Bear, Gorilla, or Acorn.
9. You have actually argued that Ali would beat Superman; even in a "non-kryptonite" match.
8. You have uttered the sentence "Sonny Banks deserves to be in the International Boxing Hall of Fame"
7. You are stunned to learn that the movie "The Greatest" never won any Oscars.
6. You maintain that Ali would have won the 1st Frazier fight had it been scheduled for 45 rounds.
5. As a kid, you had a Muhammad Ali doll; I mean action figure.
4. You have started grass roots movement to make January 17th a National Holiday.
3. You were "moved" by Ali's acting performance on "Different Stokes".
2. You think Ali was a better poet than Robert Frost (or even Leaping Lanny Poffo for that matter)
1. You own several pairs of white shorts with black trim.

Hope that you enjoyed this. I will be appearing at the Boardwalk in Atlantic City next week and the Sands in Las Vegas the week after. :D

I agree. I remember an episode of Lois & Clark where Superman fought what was real dangerous boxer. That boxer couldn't even budge Superman's head let alone cut him. Not to mention Ali wasn't a big puncher. I think Lex Luthor had something to do with this.

Batman has in fact defeated Superman - in the Grant Morrison JLA, where his secret dossier on his team mates gets in the wrong hands, leading to Superman & friends being seriously taken down. And also in Frank Miller's way underrated 'Dark Knight Strikes Again', when Superman tries to enter his bat cave.

So he would kill Ali

Bats did get help from the Green Archer though

Npal, my man, I remember that episode, wasn't Sugar Ray Leonard the bad guy?! Luthor must have manufactured a Kryptonite sponge for Supermans seconds. The swine!
This was the episode: Requiem for a Superhero

The actor was Joe Sabatino. I even failed to mention that these boxers were momentarily "supermen" themselves and still couldn't budge Superman.

Then how did he go from being a baby in the rocket ship to being an adult?
Maybe barry should do some research on this...
