Heh heh heh, yeah he should clean out the Chinese HW division too. He has a long wait for a (real) title, may as well stay busy

Because DDD had Joyce in hand until the injury. And he would out point him if they fought again.
ya, im sure that's why dub's side isn't bringing it up atm, because dubois would beat joyce again

now that daniel has blasted out the likes of joe cusmano and trev bryan, it's a different fight
For what it’s worth I had that fight even until Daniel couldn’t continue.
Would love to see a rematch.
Joyce has nothing much going on.

Not sure who Dubios should fight next, Whyte will probably want too much money. Maybe Luis Ortiz...

actually it was a pure knockout, man down for a ten count. that's a KO. 9....10....out

it's a bit silly the language some people use, as if dan was just unfortunate in suffering a freak injury that had nothing to do with being pounded in the eye repeatedly. some would have you believe that he just slipped and broke his ankle or something

Have you been sniffing glue?

I know what a knockout is… but you do realise the mitigation with the injury? Daniel did quit in my eyes (no shame in that with orbital bone injuries) but to say Joyce knocked him out.

Cmon… you better than that you, mags

he got ko'd

that's the result in boxing, you get punched, you take a knee because you want out, you get a 10 count.......it's a ko. that's what the fight will forever be recorded as

some of this dressing it up as a freak injury is silly. joyce couldnt miss the shot from round 1

Yes it's a KO on the record and it came from being punched by The Juggernaut, but it's still mitigated.

Don’t patronise me.

I don’t class it as a freak injury. Joyce inflicted that damage with his fist, and yes it has been classed as a KO win on Boxrec and rightly so.

But he’s not been put on his back by a specific shot that required oxygen.

You know the difference… no matter what you say… you know.

since when is a knockout only a situation where a dude needs oxygen?

ko can refer to many different endings, like when a guy gets his face battered to the point that he can take no more and sits himself down for a 10 count

im not patronizing my man, as a retard i dont do that

Not deserving of a title match soon but at least the WBA "regular" is in the hands of someone probably dangerous for the top guys (at least based on his power alone). In case he faced Whyte, could be a rich opportunity for Dillian too, short-tracking to another title match.

He may have lost the Joyce fight but that fight proved he has a decent chin, good stamina & to a certain extent that he can fight through adversity.

He may have eventually ‘quit’ but he did the majority of the rounds & won a fair few with a bad eye injury. A lot of fighters would’ve wanted straight out with an injury like that.

i doubt they will rematch joyce's stoppage win until there is another loss on someone's record.

well helly is defo top 15 ranked by the wba, so will be eligible for a shot. that would be a good fight

dubby;'s career has been a bit circus/freakshow since losing, hard to take seriously. beating helenius would be a nice step back to being a serious player
