thats it tho he lost convincingly to hogan smith , saying that i thought hogan beat munguia that night, not saying hogan is better fighter just munguia werent up for it that night, i remember watching a video kelly during lockdown talking about fighting again as i think he took some time off . i think munguia has improved a lot you want to see him in a big fight

Agreed. Too bad the Charlo fight didn't go through. Both boxers agreed to all terms, but PBC was too stubborn to go 50-50 on the network thing.
But yeah, the kid seems pretty coddled other than that.
The PBC-DAZN 50-50 split claim is utter nonsense.

Jermall Charlo and the PBC deserves a certain amount of criticism. but not for things that either never happened or aren’t justified.
Please, "enlighten" us. It was a network dispute dumbass. Nothing to do with either boxer. Both guys agreed to all terms.
The A-side (aligned with the PBC) made the offer to the B-side (aligned with GBP), but the B-side rejected the bout, falsely claiming they wouldn’t take the fight if DAZN didn’t share the broadcast rights with Showtime.

The A-side said that the B-side simply refused to take the fight.

And Showtime and DAZN have never previously shared the broadcast rights for any event during the entire history of the sport of boxing.

Around the same date, the B-side also refused to face Zhanibek Alimkhanuly, despite the B-side failing to score a single credible victory within the last four years.

And by the way, the B-side doesn’t hold a world title.

Do I really need to tell you whom the B-side is?

These guys look multiple weight classes apart. Duarte is massive.

Clear kelly round, apeared to even stagger mung a bit. 2-0 kelly.

(still feels like a matter of time beore mung knocks him, but mabey thats just a bit of pre fight bias from me.).

Id throw the third to kelly too, 3-0. fighting out of his skin, and mung showing his limited boxing skills.

Both look suprisingly tired for the end of round 3.

clear 4th round to kelly for me. i got it 4-0. I wouldent be shocked at all if judges have it 2-2. unreal preformance so far for kelly.

Mung knocks him down 3 times to win.

I personaly think it should of continued (10 seconds left in the round and kelly didnt actualy look terribly hurt), but its always hard to argue against stopping a fighter that goes down 3 times in a minute.

Next round would of been interesting, mung was flairng and may of punched himself out a bit.

Well that was predictable.
Let me know when they`re going to let Munguia fight somebody decent, they`ve padded this record enough now surely, it`s time to up the competition.

offensively he's got a lot of strengths, but he's easy to hit and has limited skills. a bit of movement really throws him off

he doesnt really jab to set up his work and needs to be planted to throw his big shots and bursts

I dont even think he is good offensively, he seems to always flail a lot and miss a lot. his record is a result of his opposition. He is being handled well to be sacrificed in a big fight where he will be exposed. Kelly Folded rather easily, none of those punches seem to catch him flush yet he went down way to easily.

nah, he's good offensively, with all his other flaws he wouldnt have gotten as far as he has if he wasnt

he has 2 handed power, and has every power shot in the book, to the head and body. his combos are among the better in the division too. he flailed at the end there but is usually pretty crisp and explosive. it's what lets him beat up 2nd and 3rd tier fighters pretty consistently

with his defense and lack of skills, he needs offense to bash guys even at 2nd and third 3rd tiers. what else would seperate him from the about 1450 guys he's higher ranked than?
