Dubois brings some nice power but will always get beaten by the top performers
He needs a decent opponent next time

Dub vs Helenius sounds interesting. Yeah, he should fight someone about top 20 level.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Jun 2022, 07:22Yeh. I just hope he doesn’t sit on this and wait for the Usyk-Joshua winner.
Who knows when that mandatory will get called.
Heck, fight Helenius. He was the previous GOLD champion.
Frank can probably sell a few ‘world heavyweight fight nights’ on the back of this.
Dubois should be out again this year.

Damn. Bet Bryan sees a lot less than he should. I mean this is an extraordinary amount. Witherspoon only ended up with £90k from Bruno.Glass Joe wrote: ↑12 Jun 2022, 08:31Don King Productions won the bidding for the World Boxing Association (WBA) heavyweight championship bout between Trevor Bryan and Daniel Dubois. The auction took place on Monday via Zoom and the team representing Bryan, with Don King himself present at the purse bid, won the rights to promote the bout with a bid of three million one hundred and sixteen thousand and one dollars (US$3,116,001.00).
not sure of the split..maybe probably 70/30

Daniel Dubois to settle legal dispute with Don King TODAY... with the British heavyweight set to receive almost £400,000 after previously accusing the legendary promoter of failing to pay him following his victory over Trevor Bryan in June
- Daniel Dubois beat Trevor Bryan in a WBA 'regular' title fight in June this year
- The event was promoted by Don King and took place in Miami, Florida
- Following the bout, Dubois claimed that King had failed to pay him his purse
- Dubois decided to sue King but has managed to avoid a messy legal battle
- The British heavyweight is now set to be paid nearly £400,000 by King
Daniel Dubois’ lawsuit against Don King should be settled today with the legendary promoter set to pay the British heavyweight a purse of nearly £400,000.
Dubois sued Don King Productions earlier this month, alleging that he had not been paid for his victory over Trevor Bryan in June.
It seemed a messy legal battle lay ahead but on Monday, King sent Dubois $319,561 (around £270,000) via his legal team.
A further payment of $134,700 (£114,000) is due to be paid on Tuesday at which point, Dubois’ lawyer Leon Margules told Sportsmail: ‘That will close it up, then I will dismiss the case.’
The British heavyweight, 24, captured the WBA ‘regular’ title with a fourth-round knockout of Bryan in Florida, on a show promoted by King.
King, who turned 91 last week, paid more than $3million to promote the event.
Dubois had been slated to earn $1.4million for the fight and he was said to be suing for between $938,274.32 (£773,000) and $463,274.32 (£382,000).
That disparity was down to uncertainty over whether 30 per cent of the purse ($420,000) had been paid to the IRS.
Once Dubois’ legal team confirmed that the taxman – and the WBA – had received their fees, a purse of $454,000 was agreed.
