Floyd is a cheat who will do anything for money, including incentivize opponents to play soft and steal ticket sales.

Logan Paul is Considering Suing Floyd Mayweather for Non-Payment; Says Mayweather Asked for a Rematch
The social media celebrity has claimed for the past few months that Mayweather, perhaps the most accomplished and gifted boxer of the past generation, has yet to pay him for his part in their ballyhooed eight-round exhibition bout on June 6, 2021 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Now, with seemingly no direct deposit in sight, it appears Paul is thinking of lawyering up.
“I don’t think we did yet,” Paul told TMZ on Thursday about filing a potential lawsuit against Mayweather.
“It's honestly bullsh!t," Logan continued. “Like, having people who aren't a professional promotional company control where the money goes, we made that mistake.”
The fight, which was held on the pay-per-view platform, was promoted by Mayweather’s promotional company, Mayweather Promotions, and distributed by Showtime.
According to various reports, the Mayweather-Paul fight generated in the neighborhood of $1 million buys. It is not clear if Paul is searching for the cut that he is owed from the pay-per-view buys or if it is his guaranteed purse or both.
Paul said he was naive at the negotiating table going into the Mayweather fight.
"It's Floyd Mayweather,” Paul said. “Before we fought him, we were kind of willing to do whatever. Now after the fact, we're kind of shooting ourselves in the foot because he's a "f------ scumbag.”
Paul added that Mayweather got in touch with him about doing a rematch. Paul told him to “suck a d---.” Their exhibition went the distance, and per the rules of that engagement no winner was announced.
Paul’s comments confirm what his family and friends have said in recent days. His brother, Jake Paul, said as much during a press conference in London for the April 30 Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano women’s undisputed lightweight championship at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“[Mayweather] really hasn’t [paid Logan],” said Jake, who is promoting the Taylor-Serrano fight as Serrano’s business partner. “There’s a lawsuit that was opened up last week or two weeks ago. They’re pressuring him both legally and behind-the-scenes, but it’s embarrassing for Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather to not have enough money to pay my brother.”
The comedian and podcaster Andrew Shulz, a friend of Logan Paul, stated on his podcast, The Flagrant 2, that Mayweather owes “between 5 and 10 million dollars.”
“I was talking to Logan about it,” Schulz said. “I was like ‘are you serious’ [about not being paid]? He goes ‘yeah, yeah, yeah, he hasn’t f------- paid me. I guess we’re going to have to sue him.’ It sucks because once you go into the lawsuits the lawyers make all the money…He owes him probably between 5 and 10 million dollars.
“He has not paid him. It’s been six months now. He was supposed to pay him within 90 days. And they have not paid him. And apparently they cut a side deal with Saudi Arabia and another place to stream the fight there and never told Logan or their people about it.
“Floyd left Bob Arum because Bob Arum wasn’t giving me the money I deserve, he’s f------ me…then you end up becoming that? That’s some bulls---, man.You know the fight generated money. Pay the guy pennies compared to what you're paid. Like why do that?”

Floyd Mayweather Reacts To Logan Paul's Claim of Money Being Owed
“I wanted my dad to be proud of me first,” said Mayweather. “Before anything. When my dad would say that ‘my son will break all the records,’ that stuck with me. On top of that, I wanted my own people to be proud of me. There’s nothing like that feeling. I’m more than the ‘American Dream’. I’m my own boss. I do what I want to do and I say what I want to say. If I feel that something is not right, then I’m going to speak on it.
“I changed the whole dynamic of how athletes get paid. I’ve been fighting since Michael Jordan was playing basketball. I was undefeated from then to now. LeBron James’ career is almost over, and I’m still getting paid.”
“This comes with the territory,” said Mayweather. “To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while. Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life.”
“I’m proud of my daughter and NBA YoungBoy,” said Mayweather. “I look at him like one of my sons. I only want the best for him. These kids beef nowadays and they don’t know what they’re beefing for. These young rappers are dying on the regular. I’m going to continue to push both of them to be great in everything they do.
“I love being with my grandson. He’s just like his mom was. All he wants to do is hold onto my leg and have me pick him up all day.”
Rich is something that’s short term,” said Mayweather. “Wealth is long term. It’s established. I was sitting with Warren Buffett in my locker room before a fight and we were talking about private jets. He said he’s got over 500 jets. But when you’ve been living this life for so long, that’s normal.
“The only way to pick up these things is to sit, listen and learn. There are three ways to learn: hearing, seeing and doing. That’s what makes me so deadly in boxing. I can learn all three ways. I’m deadly in all three ways.”
“The ultimate goal is to go to sleep when you want to and wake up when you want to,” said Mayweather. “If you’re not doing that, then someone or something is controlling you. I don’t want to be controlled. I want to be my own boss. That’s why I paid 750 thousand dollars to get out of my first promotional contract. Because I eventually made 750 million dollars in just three fights.
“I don’t really care what people believe. No matter what you do, it’s not good enough for everyone. No matter what, they’re going to say what they want to say. But the history books, they will say something completely different.”

I support Mayweather on this one. Bend that ho over. Hell would I care if some social media punk who thinks that he can box gets money that he thinks that someone owes him. Usually I am not much of a Mayweather fan but this time around the moral highground is his.

So are we saying that Logan Paul hasn’t sued Floyd Mayweather, because this thread contains two articles with opposing views? ![[icon_neutral.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)

That "statement" from Floyd is some pile of jibber jabber.
He talks like his brains are scrambled, maybe they are.

Floyd is truly madly deeply in love of money. You may say its greed but at the end of the day he said it very well, that when the owners/ceos of big known companies make billions its ok.
Floyd is a self-made man who proved that his work ethic and his wiseness are elite level.

Who knows the truth, maybe Floyd likes very much to be in the spotlight and also milking the game? At the end of the day FMJ said that he is his own boss and that he writes his own cheques, but from time to time he does some exhibition fights to earn some money. ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

To be fair, being paid tens of millions to engage in harmless exhibitions against incompetent opponents is something all of us would do if we were in his shoes.apollo creed wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 16:10 Who knows the truth, maybe Floyd likes very much to be in the spotlight and also milking the game? Easy work and easy money. Floyd is right. He's milking the game with ease. One thing very important about Floyd is that he squeezes to dry all the opportunities/chances of making money and he takes all the benefits.

Logan Paul Says Mayweather Asked Him For Rematch - Not Other Way Around
Youtube star turned boxer, Logan Paul, claims Floyd Mayweather still owes him between $2 to $5 million from their pay-per-view fight, which took place in June of 2021.
The two headlined a Showtime Pay-Per-View in Miami. Paul took Mayweather the full eight round distance in an exhibition fight.
Paul held a significant age, size and weight advantage in the bout.
Paul was paid his actual purse for the fight, but he claims that there is unpaid money with respect to the pay-per-view revenue.
"My guess [of what he owes me] would be between two and five mill, conservatively," Paul told True Geordie's podcast.
"I've been paid, yeah. Not in full. Technically. What about the rest of my money? This will be settled."
In response to Paul's claims of being owed money, Mayweather recently told reporters that Paul approached him for a rematch.
“He wants part two. Now remember, this is the same guy that said he didn’t get paid. So, a lot of times stop listening to all the bullsh!t that people [say]. You know, like I say, clout-chasing," Mayweather said.
"You know, when you bring Floyd Mayweather name up, you stay relevant. I’m always the reaction. I’m not the action, I’m the reaction.”
Paul shot back at Mayweather's statements.
He says it was Mayweather's handlers who came to him with the idea of a second fight.
"Let me just set the record straight, why the f--- would I ask for a rematch for someone who doesn't pay you for the fight? If I haven't been paid for the first one, why on God's green earth would I ask for a second fight knowing damn well I'm probably not gonna get paid the money that I was owed for my work, you dumbass," Paul said.
"Second off, they asked us for a rematch, 100 percent. He was supposed to fight on top of the Burj Al Arab, in Dubai, the seven star hotel with the helipad up top. Would've been amazing. Got called a month and a half before because some sh!t happened to his opponent, 'Hey, would you want to fight Floyd in a month and a half?'
"Someone from his team or someone who at least thought they could get the deal done enough to make us a confidential phone call. I go, 'What? Bro, pay me for the first f------ fight.'"
