Almost every tv show now has a usually mis matched woman’s main event. Up to 10 tedious rounds of shoe shine punches and silence from the crowd.

For every Taylor / sorrano there are 100 fights like prices last night.

And what’s the solution ? Seperate female headlined / stacked shows ? Womens boxing further down bill? Even fights only ?
That's ridiculous - they don't have a "woke agenda".
Not one bit.

Like a Russian oligarch investor says to Eddie, "Oooh I must have more women matches on equal pay - it's not the money, it's important in these times of #MeToo...."
Just doesn't happen.
All the corporates have new diversity drive and tick box exercises to complete.

The promoters themselves just care about saving cash.

Those saying the proliferation of girl fights is purely about money are only half right. The money saved by padding out a card with cheap girl fights pales into insignificance beside the financial damage falling foul of the online woke mob can do to a business. Like seemingly every other major business in the uk, broadcasters virtue signal their woke values as a kind of insurance policy to avoid being cancelled.

It seems entirely plausible that Sky met with Hearn a few years ago and said:

"Look as multi-Billion dollar global broadcasters, we're in real danger of financial hardship if an online woke mob decides to cancel us. Ed - can you put on a few women's bouts (mostly in the UK)?"

Just had a thought. I bet there won't be any women's boxing on the Usyk v Joshua rematch card! Maybe Eddie will insist there is or he won't allow the Sportswash to go ahead * *.

That's the ONE place where there might be "a woke agenda".
Those Saudi dictators - they might very well, say "let's stick a women's fight on" and maybe even, "have you got any gay boxers -that will look great too", but it won't be because they want to advance any equality whatsoever :shame:

Why’s that? They’ve allowed women’s wwe there several times in the past.

Anyone with working eyes and the ability to voice an honest opinion can see that in comparison to mens boxing it’s absolute turd.

What really gets my goat is the commentators trying to convince the casuals that they are watching something that they clearly aren’t.

That aussie was on the other week and predictably scored a dull 6 round points victory.

When she was getting interviewed they were talking to her and about her like she’d just put in a marvin hagleresque performance 😳

Sadly not everyone can voice their honest opinion these days….they’ve been brainwashed into always spouting left wing woke shite no matter what the situation in the name of equality.

Marshall v Shields is a main event fight. There's not a better match in the works in the next six months in this country.

Every fight I’ve seen of shields has been a 12 round one sided slap fest. No interest in her fights. Never seen Marshall box so can’t comment on her.

There's a huge cultural issue with womens boxing that alienates a huge % of potential audience from the get go. Lots of folk simply dont like seeing girls hit other girls in the face. Doesn't matter how much they push it, for this period of time it will always be a minority sport because only the minority can really stomach it.
Naturally it will have a fan base, as does eating nettles and welly throwing. The womens movement is forever changing and it will gather momentum, hopefully outside of my time.

Are we really sure it's the pugilistic skills of the girls we are indifferent with, is that really the blocker from us being more appreciative?

To those saying a ‘woke’ agenda doesn’t exist and it’s about money. Yeah sure DAZN and all those other companies really think spending money and changing their logo to a rainbow will really bring in extra sales….

Lack of power for me. If there were a few bad ass women banging out all comers of watch. Women’s MMA easier to watch for that reason.
