Fury says he's retired. Take him off all rankings ffs and open the belts up. He'll come back if Joshua wins, but has said he'll fight Usyk if he wins for $500,000,000.
In other words, he wants no part of Usyk.

It's ridiculous for any fighter to hold belts once they've declared they're retired.
Fork tongued Fury will say anything to leverage extra change for showing up but no one has to go along with him.
His entire career has been one long controversial disgrace to the sport of boxing.
A few more fights here and there and it could have all been so different.
This could have been the Tyson Fury era.
Instead he's going to go down only as a very well paid outsider.
Good for him, but now shut up, release the belts and get out of the way!

Fury is, and always has been, full of shite, I never believed a word of it about him retiring.Thomastearns wrote: ↑17 Jun 2022, 14:55

He knows the winner of Usyk v AJ II, needs him to both get a major payday, and legitamise the belts they hold.
He just wants more money.
I wish he talked less and fought more, but hey, it's his life and career, so I can't blame him if he wants maximum return on his fights.
