Guide says 2am (just saying)
Yeh I saw that. But then I got a Sky sports notification saying it’s 2:30am on Sky Sports Action
coverage started, i love the fact it’s the actual top rank broadcast and we don’t have to listen to the sky twats

if smith wins, well we already had bivol-smith and it was pretty boring. they have it reversed, if yarde's gonna fight one of the winners, it should be if smith wins
That’s just going to stall the division, and I don’t think there’s much money in that fight anyway, as they’re 2 Russians and neither have massive fan bases stateside.

Let’s have Beterbiev defending against Yarde, and Buatsi challenge Bivol please

bert destroys smith in 2, total beatdown drubbing

bert-bivol, best fight in the division by miles. the powerpuncher ko beast vs the smooth boxer. someone in the currentt scene said it's clearly what we all want to see, and i'd say the vast majority of fans do, but i guess our warren employee posters think otherwise

What a fornicating shambles of a performance from Smith. Couldn't defend, went to to toe with the more dangerous fighter. Gormless, useless performance. Shite.

i mean, he got destroyed, but i think it was sh!t or bust for him really. he wasnt going to win a boxing match and had to make it messy and slugging in there, a fight where he'd catch artur getting overly aggressive. it was the type of fight he was gonna ko or be ko'd hard

Went in with a chin or be chinned attitude, mabey it was slightly too reckless but it was what smiths ability allowed. Trying to chin beterb early was probably his best stratergy seing as beterb is a known slow starter and smith isnt a massivly skilled boxer.

Much rather that stratergy than say a "callum smith vs caelo" where you just survive but never even try to win.

That would be the wise move. Take the step-aside cash. If he gets really lucky Bivol might do something vs Beterbiev and he gets an easier option.

Is the yarde fight already signed? :brick: this is a horrible career move. He might never be the same after the Beterbiev fight.

I expected a longer fight with the same outcome. Beterbiev is a wrecking machine, no doubt about that. Beterbiev vs Bivol sounds hot as hell, let's get it on!

Artur made Smith look terrible , , Give Smith some credit he came out to win , he knew he was never going to outbox him so he went for it ,,, Just unfortunate for Smith that Artur is so good , his distancing was perfection , he can punch short , good footwork gets him close and shotrt punch power devastated Smith ,, really enjoyed watching that display

Yeah, Beter is a top operator. For me it became clear with the Gvodzyk fight. The Ukrainian was treated as if he was in the same class with Lomachenko and Usyk, but Beter destroyed him professionally, with picking the proper pace and punches. Beter has excellent textbook abilities, which effect is multiplied by the devastating power. Smith can only brawl, so he was made for Beterbiev, he came into punches of Artur.

Demolition job by Beterbiev, Smith Jr might have been better trying to box, easier said than done of course but he tried to hang there with Beterbiev and paid the price, straight away you could hear the thud of Beterbiev's punches landing and an overhand right had Smith Jr down at end of 1st, same shot had him down again early in 2nd, a combination had him down again, looked the straight right that done damage that time, Smith Jr a warrior, kept coming forward but played into Beterbiev's hand, uppercuts from both hands finished Smith off when ref stopped it, his legs were jelly

Beterbiev against Yarde is an intriguing fight, clearly Yarde and his team have learned nothing from the Kovalev fight as far as preparation goes, I wouldn't be surprised if he sits on sidelines until fight night, chancers

Beterbiev against Bivol please

Whatever Smith's limitations, Beterbiev was superb. His timing and the way he shortens his shots is very impressive. Yarde has his work cut out if it is him next. Bivol is the fight everyone wants.

A really good two fight card.

The fact that Ram-Nova didn’t even go last 5 as well.

Great shot.

Bert-Smith was a fight from the start!
