Slowly but surely Beterbiev is convincing he is Hall of fame all time great ( top 10 ATG ) at a light heavy weight Great power and good inside skills. Very good chin as well, you don't fight he way without a good chin. Bivol or Canelo /GGG is next. If he wins here he's in the Hall of fame. Top all time ten? Well his career is not over yet!

Joe shouldn’t have even been the WBO champion.

I just rewatched some highlights (by that I mean the full fight) and I kinda get sorry for Smith.
He didn’t know what to do at times. He couldn’t hurt Bert. His corner told him to throw the right hand but Smith is a slugger before anything else.
He can throw bombs.. but in this case. Bert throws bigger bombs.
Where’s EO?
He was saying on a thread in the last about nationality that Bert hardly speaks any English?
It seemed pretty oryt to me.

18 wins, 19 KOs.
Apparently Smith had never been down before.
Are we giving Beterbiev enough credit here?

I was rooting for Joe Smith Jr. because his common man thing really speaks to me. Although I really am a Beterbiev fan. Didn't get to watch the fight in real time from Finland, even though I paid for VPNs and ESPN+s, they still made it impossible.
Beterbiev beats Bivol.

I only found out yesterday that Smith hadn’t been down before.. and to be fair. He’s tough as nails.
He wasn’t floored badly and did well to stay on his feet.
At worst the flash knockdowns. But it was more of the after effect.

Come on. He earned it hard way. Going against Hart and Alvarez as underdog and destroyed them. Fought hard fight vs Vlasov vhich can go either way but IMO in current times, when most belts are just pieces of plastic, Joe Smith WBO belt actualy mean something

Ok a little harsh. He 100% deserved a title shot. Yes. No doubt.
I didn’t have him winning.
