Tommy Fury backing out of Jake Paul fight again

Post by TheLeprechaun »

It seems like Tommy is refusing to fight in America because his dad and Tyson are banned.

And in a deleted Instagram video later posted online speaking about Tommy's potential fight with Paul on August 6, Fury Sr addressed the fact many of them are suspended from entering the US and admitted: "Tyson can't get over there".

"You can have the fight on August 6 but it has got to be not in America because all of us at the minute are suspended and banned for life I can't get there at all," Fury Sr said. "Tyson can't get over there because he has a few issues at the moment that he is trying to sort out. So Tommy has got no team.

"Listen if you want to negotiate a different price we will take less money to fight you anywhere else in the world on August 6. If you can't do it there is not a problem we will get you again. But this needs to be promoted properly and at the minute it's a poor job. If you are interested that is it. We are fighting people you do what you have got to do, contact us and it is game on."

Fury was ringside in Liverpool to watch his cousin Nathan Gorman claim heavyweight victory over the weekend before self-documenting a run near his home in Lancashire. Kinahan is understood to have a bounty of $4 million set by the US Treasury following the announced sanctions.

surely its the kinehan situation. Its easy to throw hate at tommy cos hes less gifted and gets opportunities, but i get not wanting to travel if you cant take your entire training team.

It’s the only big money fight he’ll ever have. He should grab it with both hands.

He’s pulled out once though already late in the day after saying he’d never pull out.

Jake Paul is the main money driver of the fight, they’ve already announced the date and have booked MSG for it too. So for Tommy to ask for it to be moved out of the country when it’s planned for just 6 weeks time is completely unrealistic.

I just hope its not mike tyson. If jake paul knocked out mike tyson it would be one of the saddest things you could ever watch.
I also hate exhibitions and cant imagine vegas would sanction it for a real pro fight. Paul needs to Slide into marcelo wilders DMs.

It’s the Kinahan thing for Tyson, but it’s the fact that he gouged someone’s eye half out that’s caused John to be banned. I would say that they could ask Peter but he’s banned after drug dealing and money laundering

Why would you say that? Do you really not know they don't speak?

Tommy saying it's on. John has deleted his Instagram post...
Tommy doing the right thing, for me. Not many will earn $2m. It's a lot more than Dubois got. It's more than Tyson got for Wlad!

apparently the delay was because the youtuber wouldn't sign up for drug testing.

Imagine calling yourself a pro boxer but needing your mates with you to fight Jake Paul for a million pound. 🤣🤣

Ahhh I think that’s harsh. Its his training team, not ‘mates’. This is prob the biggest, highest profile fight he’ll ever have. I don’t think it’s too unreasonable to want your coach there. I mean, yeah, he should do it anyway, but genuine respected fighters have pulled out for far less.

Jake as you would expect outclasses Tommy on a social media level. If Tommy doesn’t fight him now every man and his dog will assume it’s because he’s scared.

Jake’s point re Tommy not needing specific team members around him for a previous fight in USA is hard to refute though.

If Tommy was a great boxer with a huge future , i'm talking world champ material go on his own no way ,,, But for a guy with no real future in boxing its life changing money He should be thankful of the huge payday
