I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw someone so technically polished at 13 fights. I like your point about him seeming to pay attention to form, the way he defends himself with shoulders and arms and gloves switching positions and angles (I could have just said shelling lol) if he doesn’t get it spot on he’ll get hit, but he’s so smooth and compact you can see he’s drilled with perfect form over and over, he had Cuadras ricocheting shots off that shell all night.

“If they both [Bam Rodriguez and Rey Martinez] come out with a win, are next fight against Martinez for the WBC 112 pound title because we went to 115 because we got that opportunity against [Carlos] Cuadras [to fight for the vacant WBC flyweight belt].

“I think Bam belongs at 112, maybe at 108. I’m also considering 108, but 112 for sure. I think that’s where he can say for a couple of years. He also has his brother [Joshua Franco], who is also a champion at 115.
