Heavyweights: Jerry Quarry vs. James "Quick" Tillis

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Would Quarry counter Tillis' attack by out-punching him on the body and head to take a decision or the other way around for Tillis to out-box Quarry behind his jabs and combinations on the outside to take a decision? What do you guys think and who do you got?

Tillis at his best was a decent boxer, but he always lacked something to be a real threat. Quarry wasn't that advanced from the technical side, but his toughness would help him against the likes of Tillis. I see Quarry making that fight and getting better of it.

Tillis would win a few rounds, but Quarry would get him with several hooks and stop him in the 11th.
