Only watched before the bell so far… will watch the sky broadcast tomorrow.
Scott Forest with a good left right finish. 27 years old so should be moved quickly with good am experience. Man has a sexy physique tbh.
David Benitez absolutely hilarious. Every trick in the book tried. Kevin Parker did the right thing in the end. McKenna’s work rate great stuff. Wasn’t breathing at all!
Kaisee Benjamin I thought looked atrocious against Ambomo. Won the fight easy but had low work rate and shipped a few shots. Should be him vs Dalton for the British… not Dalton’s first defence. Smith anywhere near what people are saying it’s an easy night.
Shakiel Thompson bored me to tears. The Polish southpaw was game and maybe it was the clash of styles but when you’re bigging him up that much he has to produce better. First fight on Boxxer I was not impressed. Forgetful performance.
David Benitez you dirty dawg

Many many options for the Eg now.
Cheesman- 50-50, The best option, rematch of a dead even fight with two guys that have name value and find there way into wars.
Conway- 50-50, Good option, coming off a carrer best win.
Metcalf- 50-50, Good option, coming off a carrer best win..
Skeete- mabey a 50-50? Skeete is coming off a carrer best preformance, should of won it by DQ.
Troy williams- I think a step to far but a good fight.
Josh kelly- Almost certainly a step to far, but a big fight.
Be happy with any of those, (although prefer not the last two).

Hardest import seen for a long time. Eggington maybe tried too hard in the end. It was a tough old slog.
Re: Sam Eggington vs. Przemyslaw Zysk | Sky Sports - 25 June 2022
Another win for Egg but he didn’t look right in there tonight. His interview made me wonder if he’s thinking of retiring, it all sounded a bit final.
I too thought it odd too that Steve Gray was overly friendly with the Egg, he even gave him a little kiss. I’m sure there’s nothing suspect going on but if you’re a foreign fighter you might find it a bit off.

Easy win for Eggington, I agreed with the 119-109 cards, Zysk tough and durable but had very little to trouble Eggington, defensively Eggington was pretty solid, he outboxed Zysk behind the jab, first half of the fight Eggington opened Zysk up before the rounds were out to stamp his authority on the round, second half Eggington took his foot off the gas and was happy to keep it simple, Zysk fared better down the stretch but still offered precious little, clear win for Eggington

Is Cheese still fighting? I'd favour Sam now.gregregegg wrote: ↑25 Jun 2022, 18:29 Many many options for the Eg now.

Just finished watching the full show and not read any comments here yet so probably just rehashing what’s been said
How bad was Zysk? Basic, upright, slow and terrible footwork. Did all the fundamentals badly. Tough tough man though and took some big shots v early and had to bite down. A bit worried about how Eggy become so flat after 4 rounds and just went through the motions. Off night or hard career catching up? I only give the Pole 2 rounds but definitely signs Eggy starting to slow down at 28 I thought. Would like to see Eggy in with JJ Metcalf next. Be a good fight for both
Wtf Steve Gray watching in the Bent v Denny fight??? For me one of the worst scorecards. F Clarke and Nelson both had it to Bent but I thought he got outmanned, out fought, and quite frankly dominated. Denny wanted it more and Bent didn’t use his physical advantages. 97-92 Denny.
Adam Azim did EXACTLY what was expected. He looks a talent but sky bigging him up way too much and inflating him that much, that unjustly given the calibre of his opponents and with so much fanfare will not help him at all. Loffet was ranked over 600 on Boxrec and 7/7 in Belgium. Need to leave him be and let his career follow its natural course. For a sec I thought he would be last on!!! Should be on at 7 for the next year. Give him Cheema next not “in 4 or 5 fights” like sky building it. Azim stops Cheema in 1.
Cheema hit clean, hit often and not impressive. Again been billed up so much it’s gonna do him no favours. I’d be amazed if he won an English belt and tbh over 8 I’d expect Charlton to beat him. Good fun, but unless he radically improves then the Boxxer tournament is not reflection of him in proper boxing over 6/8 rounds.
Kariss’ style looks like it may be easier on the eye than other ladies’ fights but the rotating of the price/artingstall circus every 6 weeks gonna do my head in. They both lack any personality and just look miserable most of the time. I’d suspect bec connolly next for Kariss. Just killed the atmosphere after the bent/Wilson war.
Cheema/Azim SKY SPORTS PPV October 2022. Whose in?

Dunno tbh. Kariss without braids looks decent. In braids looks like some kinds of macho trophy made out of plywood.
Think I’ll still with Kariss though… but the gap has closed after last night.
Re: Sam Eggington vs. Przemyslaw Zysk | Sky Sports - 25 June 2022
Dunno. It did land bang in the middle of the ring.
Worst has to be Dom Ingle trying to save Brook’s life against GGG.
Looked like he was trying to put a fire out ringside.
Should be a new rule. If a corner throws a towel it must land on their fighters head otherwise it’s ignored like Vann in Earl/Kat or Gray in Ritson/Ponce.
Add some pressure to the corner team that would.

Based on last night. I think Mick is now a sub-promoter with Shalom top guy. 3 Hennessy fighters on last night’s card. Wonder If we see more? I think so,Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 07:24 Good that Eggy is back with Sky, wonder what's happened with Mick..
Makes sense why CBS v Chamberlain was so easy to make. Isn’t Chamberlain with Hennessy, too.
Hope that’s the case. Boxxer and Hennessy teaming up not a bad thing.

Yeh, I have a feeling this is the case. Some of these guys may have had long term contracts.Dioufy wrote: ↑26 Jun 2022, 11:56Based on last night. During the McKenna fight, the commentary were casually mentioning Mick as well.

He was also shuffled into the big boy seat next to Shalom for the main event with Khan pushed away.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑26 Jun 2022, 12:01Yeh, I have a feeling this is the case. Imagine Mick and Shalom having a love child. You’d get a very young F Warren.

It was good seeing Meaty Mick, he has put some timber on.

Now that Wassermann are with Channel 5, is Mick Hennessy filling the void left at Sky ?

Re: Sam Eggington vs. Przemyslaw Zysk | Sky Sports - 25 June 2022
Hennessy's sports were a beast in their heyday. Shame they lost their contract at channel 5. Surely they could have gone on with Wasserman. Wasserman probably won't put as good shows as Mick did. Few things went Mick way, he could have easily been the top 1-2 promoter in the UK. Probably would have still had Tyson Fury on his book, but some falling out happened.
Re: Sam Eggington vs. Przemyslaw Zysk | Sky Sports - 25 June 2022
Will we see more Hennessy fighters fighting on Sky ? We had River wilson Bent and Sam Eggington. Will we see more ?

mick's kid is actually a gutsy fighter, albeit area level at absolute best, but ffs its hard to cheer for a guy who gets described in promotional material as being 'angel faced'. ffs did mummy write that
