Usyk for me. Supported him, and picked him, in the first fight and will in the second. I want to see him fight Fury. Not interested in AJ v Fury. AJ isn't good enough to pose a meaningful challenge.

I do like AJ though and he did better than I expected him to in the first fight. He's always got a chance being so big and powerful. People underrate his performance, it was good, probably his best ever performance.

Usyk for me - and hopefully he puts an end to Fury after it.

Sick to death of the pair of them (fury and josh). Fury is a decent level boxer who happens to be massive. That's it. Doesn't do anything better than I've seen any other top HW do. Biggest gob shite to come out of the UK, and when he's having a quiet day, we've got his dad mouthing off instead. Complete narcissists the pair of them.

Joshua - for the same reasons as mentioned previously. The BLM and racist comments really put me off him. And then all his "humble" chat thats rammed down our throats daily. Who would fall for it? Glimpses of his true personality crop up every now and then. And when you get to his actual boxing ability - all I think of is his passivity when the ref was counting him in Ruiz 1. Willing the ref to stop the fight.

Usyk is as real as they come, not to mention a world class boxer and entertaining to boot. Everything I want in a fighter and I wish him all the luck in the world.

I thought everyone knew John Farnham was English... Hardly a hidden secret. A good proportion of the most famous "Australian" celebs over 30 were born overseas. Nicole Kidman, the Bee Gees, Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson, ACDC etc.

I want Usyk to knock AJ spark out, then outbox and end the Gypsy King. Gotta love Usyk, he's just so bloody likeable.
Everyone did know he was English , thats why it was so hilarious , rushing through a citezenship ceromony so he could be Aussie of the year , and you've left out lots of Aussie celebs who were born overseas ,, Told ya , were not bothered who we claim has our own providing there famous   some were a bit unsure wether we wanted Aussie Joe Bugner though , personaly i thought he was great for the country  .

And i agree with Usyk he is a real likable fella or seems to be
I like Aussie Joe Bugner
So do i I met Joe a couple of times years ago , sat next to him at a boxing show ,he was a guest , we was front on a stage and started to chat , very pleasent fella and very freindly ,, over the course of perhaps 2 maybee 3 hrs we were chatting and probably had a convo that would of normally took 30 maybee 45 minuites , it took so long because Joe was continually shaking hands , giving hugs to young boxers and getting his photo took or signing autographs to anyone and everyone who approached him a total gentleman and ambasador for the sport .

The highlight of the night was when a young aboriginal lad 10 maybee 12 ,walked up to us and very confidently looked at the two of us , dismissed me , and said to joe .

WHO ARE YOU ,,,, YOU FAMOUS OR SOMETHING .

Joe smiled at him and said , i'm joe bugner i am famous i fought Muhamid Ali ,,,, the kid looked bemused and said WHO'S HE ,,, Joe said one of the best boxers ever lived .

To which the kid replied ,, yeh well non of you would beat my dad , and walked off totaly unimpressed   ... we just pissed ourselfs laughing ,

He was or at least appeared to be a really good advert for boxing , not like a couple of other big name fookwits i've met and not been impressed with

Well what did they expect him to do? Lose on purpose? He wasn’t in charge of the decision…. It seems he couldn’t win. Also he was of Hungarian origin I think that made a lot of difference. It’s a shame. He was a good fighter. Henry Cooper always seemed a little grumpy to me.

Henry Cooper was another claimed `peoples champion` like Tyson Fury. Of course Furys is a self-claimed `peoples champion` and Coopers was a newspapers claim. The similarity being that neither had/have much time for the public outside of promoting themselves for financial/ego purposes.

What genuine `peoples champion` world boxing champion has there been?

Barry McGuigan and Frank Bruno are the only two that spring to my mind. I have spoken to McGuigan on a number of occasions at shows, as will multiple others be able to say the same. He really makes himself available to fans. The same I hear about Frank Bruno.

I rate Usyk, he's hard not to like, but I find it hard to see him beating Fury - just too many physical disadvantages to overcome, against a guy who moves very well for a big man.

Bruno is aloof and I didn't find Mcguigan that friendly, either. I think you'll find AJ was "the future people's champion". What makes you say Tyson has little time for the public? Almost everything he does suggests otherwise. Hatton was probably the biggest in recent years.

I guess criteria I mean for 'peoples Champion' is that they are famous British world's champions not just world title holders

Naz, Lennox, Froch, Benn, Eubank and Calzaghe were all huge, but non had that 'peoples Champion' about them either.

Everyone and their nan loved McGuigan and Bruno for quite a few years. I'm sure there are times when both guys were arseholes to fans - but McGuigan for me was always an approachable and friendly guy. Bruno was mobbed like royalty and seemed to be everywhere surrounded by fans .. it's surprising to hear he is aloof; was that leading up to his melt down?

Tyson Fury is 100% a people's champ. Took time to chat with me and a young disabled lad I look after. Posed for photos. No press, no one to impress. He was spot on.

I know what you mean about the size difference. But if anyone will do it it has to be Usyk. He will be by far the best that Fury has faced, and you never know, Usyk could use the size difference to his advantage. I know he's come on leaps and bounds, but he's only really looked good to me in a couple of the wilder fights. Wilder is as unskilled as they come but just had his massive name. He reminds me of a basketball player with a baseball bat in his hand. I've too many memories of watching furys earlier fights. Uppercutting himself, clumsiness, McDermott, Cunningham... Maybe I'm just living in the past, but I'd love to actually see him besten, just to see what happens next if anything.

fury should be favoured over usyk.............but guys around usyk's size might actually be the ones he struggles with most. down vs pajkic, rocked in round 2 vs chis in the first fight, down and getting outboxed by cunn (who looked a lot faster and more mobile), hurt and not far from being stopped from the cut vs wallin (same reach as usyk)......usyk is far better than all those guys, it's not hard for me to see him giving fury a lot of problems.

big len was another who would blast out big boys, but had most of his struggles vs smaller guys, including his losses and draw

Usyk.

I think the HW landscape would be more interesting if Usyk won.

I like Joshua, but I think he's had his day in the sunshine.

Sounds bizarre as Usyk is the older guy, but he is the better fighter and I believe he is the one who would stand more chance of beating Fury than Joshua would.
