The 'love for Cat' you're referring to is actually just empathy for a hard-working guy who gave everything to chase his dream, only to have it snatched from him by a travesty of a decision. That sense of injustice and a desire to see it put right is not the same as expressing love for him as a fighter.

I think those people have not watched enough Catterall fights. Let them sit through the Ohara Davies fight followed by the Tyrone Nurse, Tyrone McKenna and Joe Hughes fights. I'm happy never seeing him fiddle his way to a decision again. Even in the Taylor fight you see him being extremely negative especially the last 4 rounds, most of which he lost if not all. I gave Catterall the first 6 rounds and still ended up with a 114-111 scorecard because he will always be negative especially towards the end of fights. Looking back at my scorecard I had Catterall winning the first 6 and then Taylor taking 5 of the last 6. I was happy to see him robbed. I've rarely seen a guy robbed and been over the moon. I think the last time was Lewis Holyfield 1. Couldn't have been happier to see Lenny get jobbed after that performance. Having Holyfield hurt and doing nothing and just generally being a boring f*cker in there. Here is my scorecard which I thought was pretty fair but if you gave Taylor any of the first 6 rounds then it gets much closer. Hardly a travesty I would say. A travesty is something like Mimoune getting royally fked in that Golden Contract.

I would rewatch any of the first 6 rounds if anyone gave them to Taylor. It's a fight I didn't rewatch. Catterall does that.

How is that relevant? People watched the Taylor fight and 99% saw a robbery. That's all that matters. The idea that past actions somehow justify that outcome is bizarre.

I admit; I did find him boring, but he actually came to fight and win against Taylor and made a fight of it.
