What were the reasons for the last 3 pull outs before this?

It’s at the point where we can’t have any more ‘warm ups’ he more or less has to take what’s offered (and I don’t no he’d be massively short changed) vs a Yarde or Buatsi or a WT fight.

Piss poor opponent anyway. Johnson should be fighting better. British fighters love to coast on "warm up fights" for as long as possible before facing someone decent.

why was mikhalkin piss poor for johnson? johnson barely won his last fight vs a worse opponent, and before that was badly rocked by someone even worse than that. he's never won above british level anyway. it's not like he's some world level guy who has put himself well above the likes of these guystigermoth87 wrote: ↑10 Jul 2022, 00:56 Piss poor opponent anyway. mikhalkin's a 2x euro champ and generally pretty durable. won on the road several times. he's done more than johnson

He should man up and get in their with a dometic opponent---Buatsi, Arthur, Yarde, Azeez--even Fielding.

you're giving johnson too much credit, he's never shown he's above this level really. barely won his last fight vs a worse opponent than igor.....and in his fight right before that was badly hurt by a 40 year old not even in the world top 125
was a competitively matched fight for sure
